Im not a believer in this theory but he would do it to blind/distract them from a completely different plan.
Saul as a terrorist would be incredibly stupid and so full of plot holes that it would make zero sense.
So the show took a realistic turn but, i dont see how this will benefit this early on. Doesnt catching brody make carry remembering isahs name irrelevent?
Another good episode! I'm sensing Brody as a Spoiler double agent I liked the whole good cop, bad cop routine as well. The way Carrie came in to comfort him, almost like a mirror image of Abu Nazir's tactics when he was a POW.
That scene with Carrie and Brody when she broke him down.....was the best scene on TV I have ever seen! The chemistry between them two is amazing! Best show on TV.......
What an epic episode. Loved it. Claire Danes is brilliant in this show. I think Brody is playing Carrie.
I was thinking how great that scene was as well. It felt like an epic scene. The acting was excellent by both of them. I'm still not sure if Carrie is playing him or would take him back if he leaves his wife. I'm thinking if he's on the side of the good guys and he leaves his wife for her...she will reciprocate. Or, she is just conning him to get what she wants. She has acted the part so well that it's hard to tell what her true intentions are. Same could be said for him. I guess that is what makes this show so great.
That scene were brody was being interrogated was fantastic There was no music, no sound effects just the dialogue. Bravo!
Think Brody and Claire both won themselves another Emmy with the interrogation scene. Absolutely intense and perfect in every way. So is Brody a double or triple agent now Im guessing.
Only after Phen (whatever the VP's son's name is) runs him over with a Rolls Royce this time. Or, they escape to the woods only to find Tom Walker's zombie hunting everything in sight. My money is on Tom Walker's zombie
I'm going to be repetitive and say the interrogation scene was incredible TV. Claire Danes is a truly great actress that is in her prime.
I'm going to go ahead and break away from the consensus. **** this show now. The acting was great btw, its just the 24ish plot I can't stand. I really liked the first season.
Here is what you have to get a grip on: Like 24, Homeland will never have another season like the first one. Lower your expectations and just enjoy the ride. If you still don't like the show even after removing season one's impossible standard, oh well. For the record, the first season of 24 owned me like no show ever had or will. I quit watching after season 2 or 3. Lesson learned.
