Is it just me or are you also tired/annoyed of hearing that monotone, slow, husky voice style of our PA announcer? It's almost robotic. I like the old school PA announcers where they keep it simple by using their normal voice. Don't get me wrong, he has a great voice but hope we could at least have an alternate PA. Jeeereeemyyy LLLLin!.. For three..for three for three for three (echoes) ugh And it's the same exact long, slow, grudgy tone for the entire game like a recording. For what it's worth, Heat PA is still worse. But they almost have the same style. We've run out of things to b**** about if we're now b****ing about the PA announcer. I guess b****ing about the uniforms has gotten old.
I agree completely, in fact I think the whole presentation at the games should get a revamp. I'm there to watch basketball not little children race to make big cheeseburgers at every timeout.
to reiterate, I think he is a good PA announcer but the somber tone he does for opposing players is just redundant.
I'm sure he's an awesome fella but COME ON..really?? Hope he gets promoted and doesn't have to do public address announcing.
idk how u can hate on John Paul Stevenson he's one of the best in the league if not the best. Heat PA announcer is annoying as hell idk how u think JP is annoying. I think he's amazing imo.
