We can just trade one Harvard law grad for another. Romney graduated with honors from Harvard law and business.
Another po released today has Obama +8 in Minnesota... It is important to consider outliers both ways... The overall effect is Obama +5 to +6 in the state. The polls in Virginia released today were also good for Obama. Ohio from what I saw has Obama with a narrow lead ... Then again, if he carries Virginia he may not even need Ohio.
TRADER JORGE: Never has a President stooped so low on the campaign trail. HISTORICAL FACTS: In the 1828 presidential campaign. Jackson's mother was called a prostitute, and his wife an adulteress. CONCLUSION: Not all low-information voters support Obama, TJ.

what percent of republican voters would get a majority of the jokes in the video? im going to go with 22%
It is unusual though for the StarTribune to have a very favorable poll though for a Republican. Generally their polls have been very favorable for Democrats.
Probably much higher than that. I'm an independent and my impression was of a guy being a smart alec, using big words and phrases, that if you asked him the meaning of them, he couldn't tell you to save his life. My impression was this was a written script, memorized and rehearsed by a member of the acting community. My impression is the guy himself has no idea what he is talking about. And I'm sure I don't get most of the jokes myself. So, there's no way a right wing Republican is going to get it either. Probably the only people that would get all the jokes is the far left.
Then your idea would be wrong. The guy is a writer and director. He isn't an actor. Since he's a writer, he probably wrote it himself.
yes, indicative of an insular, self-reinforcing smugness that will come crashing down next week. Like the South Park smug cloud that keeps building on itself
I look forward to your resumption of normal "video without comment" posting until 2016. As for jopatmc - I look forward to his continued existence in the alternate reality where Romney is president, Vasilis Spanoulis has supplanted Tony Parker as the Spurs unquestioned leader, Ricky Rubio is being mentioned along with Magic, Jordan and Bird, and starting at Center, for your Houston Rockets, in his 9th season, at 7 feet tall, out of Southwest Atlanta Christian Academy..... ..because hopefully I will not have to read his trolling in this one (if he actually bothers to leave, which I doubt he will).
FALSE....Obama did NOT surrender his Law License. http://www.snopes.com/politics/obama/lawlicenses.asp
Mason-Dixon was commissioned to do the polling and they tend to lean Republican (not saying they are hacks, only that their methodology tends to favor Republicans).
I don't think this deserves its own thread but since many have been accusing the Obama campaign of desperation this sounds pretty desperate from the Romney campaign. http://firstread.nbcnews.com/_news/...-the-campaign-goes-on-sort-of?lite&ocid=msnhp [rquoter]*** A Jeep-load of controversy: How concerned is the Romney campaign about Ohio? And how concerned is it about the auto-bailout issue? The answer: Concerned enough that it’s airing a TV ad in the state that has created a truckload -- or Jeep-load -- of controversy, pushing the credibility envelope to another level. "Obama took GM and Chrysler into bankruptcy and sold Chrysler to Italians who are going to build Jeeps in China. Mitt Romney will fight for every American job," the ad goes. The ad is misleading because Chrysler is simply building Jeeps in China the same way Toyota builds cars in the U.S. TheDetroit News: “Chrysler previously built Jeeps in China — and the move would not be unusual. Ford Motor Co. builds Ford vehicles in China for Chinese buyers and General Motors Co. builds Buicks in China for local consumers. The new 30-second ad doesn't repeat a false claim Romney referenced Thursday night in a speech in Ohio that the Auburn Hills automaker plans to shift all Jeep output from the United States to China — including vehicles built for U.S. consumers.” In fact, Chrysler had to release a statement “flatly denying it has any plans to move Jeep output to China from the United States,” the Detroit News adds. The fact that the Romney ad forced Chrysler to put out a statement may have invited more trouble for the Romney campaign than they intended.[/rquoter]
If Romney promised to bring back Firefly, he would get my vote. (even if he changed positions 10 minutes later.)
