Tyreke Evans and jj hickson Jeremy Lin James harden Chandler parson Terrence jones Omer Asik Bench Tyreke Evans Jj hickson D mo
Obviously have to gun for Bynum and CP3 next summer, but both are extremely unlikely. I'd be hesitant to give anyone else the max. I'd rather we try to trade for another star, preferably a big.
I think we have our big men. 2 years from now Jones and D-Mo will be a potent combo at the 4. Who says Jones cant be Josh smith? I also think its gonna be hard to upgrade on Asik, who is an elite 7 foot defender. There just arent many. That leaves the 3. I know everyone has a hard-on for Parsons, but I don't think he's an elite talent. If I could pick another building block player to aquire it would be Paul George. Doubt Indy would trade him though.
I heard a lot of DeMarcus Cousins name around here. But not a single one can explain how the hell you're going to get him?? And why would the Kings give him up?? I live in Sacramento and also a Kings fan, i don't see the Kings giving up their best player on the team. So stop dreaming and let's be real here. You might get Tyreke but he ain't that great.
Love is untouchable, but man this team would destroy with that lineup: Lin Hardin Parson Love Asik Championship!
Try to get Howard or Bynum again and it failed...then get Josh Smith + Ginobili or Josh Smith + Millsap
The guys I'd love to pair him with are Terrance Jones at small forward and Donatas Motiejunas at PF. Think about those two players coming to their own by the end of next year. Lin Harden Jones Motiejunas Asik With backups Livingston Parsons Morris/White Patteron/white Smith/Aldrich how sick would that be... this is assuming that jones and motiejunas get better than parsons and pat
Can Dwight play PF? If he can he would be the obvious 1st choice. If we somehow sign CP3 then we can trade Lin for someone else.
I'd only do that if LeBron would commit and Charlotte would trade us Anthony Davis for our 2014 2nd round draft pick. Otherwise, we won't have any talent in the future and we'll be a bit weak at SF.
Why do we need to trade for a 4? Aren't you curious how good Jones and D-Mo could be? I think 2 years from now they'll both be better than anyone we could realistically trade for now.
I think if you can add Bynum or Cousins you are doin pretty damn good.... I really ,really like T. Jones at the 4 spot. He reminds me of J.Smoove but with a better shot and handle.Jones will be an all-star a few times in his career I strongly believe. but a Line-up of.... Lin Harden parsons( I like parsons but honestly we could upgrade this position) Jones Bynum of Lin Harden parson Cousins/Jones Asik/Cousins Either one works I think.....The second would allow for a nice front court. You have Athletic big(jones) , Defense big(Asik), Offensive Post (Cousins).....
The easiest way for the Rockets to come away with a star to partner with Harden is via another trade. The most likely candidates would be 2013 FAs where the team moves them at the deadline. Josh Smith Andre Iguodala Steph Curry (R) Chris Paul Dwight Howard Monta Ellis Andrew Bynum Al Jefferson Paul Milsap Paul/Howard definitely aren't going to be sold, and we aren't luring them away from LA. I consider Curry a possibility, but he's had health issues. It would make for scary outside shooting along with Harden, and we have young post players that may prove to make that a solid combination. Josh Smith isn't your traditional star, but would add to our strong defensive potential, and fast break potential. ATL is clearing the deck, but I think they keep Smith, who is a hometown player. Iggy is most likely staying in Denver. Bynum is the best player that stands any chance of being available, but his injury history makes him a substantial risk (and the only reason Philly might deal him at the deadline). I think we should stay clear, because he isn't walking away from the full max, and a trade likely means the Sixers are out of the playoff race and Bynum is injured or cancerous. Monta Ellis doesn't fit at all, and would be a bad choice anyway. Paul Millsap & Al Jefferson are both on the trading block, and likely that one moves in FA. Al Jefferson is an extremely gifted player that doesn't play up to his full potential, but would be the best bet for a truly inside out threat. We could also get Carlos Boozer, but nobody wants to see that. Millsap & Jefferson are definitely the easiest targets this year.
Would like to see how this roster does: Lin Livingston Harden Cook Parsons Delfino TJ Moti Patterson Asik Smith Aldrich We can go BIG with multiple mixes of that roster.
