Why do I all of a sudden have Comcast Sports New England, and why would I even want that?

I am blaming the CSN Houston folks for this. Cable providers want to have the channels their subscribers want. They know that we want access to our local basketball and baseball teams. What cable companies will generally not do is agree to an exorbitant rate that would cause them to have to jack up the rate their customers pay. If cable providers did not do this with groups like CSN, Fox and Viacom and just agreed to pay whatever they wanted, we would all pay a lot more for TV service.

We need to get Morey on the phone to work out this deal with the TV providers and CSN.

    Hey Comcast Sportsnet Houston:

This James Harden deal just makes me hate you more for taking away my ability to watch the Houston Rockets on my television. P.S. No carrier in my area, less than a hundred miles from Houston, carries Comcast Sportsnet Houston.

Did I already tell you to **** off? I believe I did. Well, let me tell you again.

    **** YOU COMCAST SPORTSNET HOUSTON.

No radio station in Eastern Texas will carry the Rockets, so how does that help us? Stop making fun of our predicament and help us by writing the Rockets and Comcast.

Gotta love David Barron of the Chronicle writing a headline about the "fans winning" when they won't be able to see a single game. Houston is a wasteland.

If anything, I think Harden was semi-"admittance" on their own end that things weren't getting done. It shows the Rockets are trying to entice some dealmaking, break the stalemate some. So now they have to put a little more product on the floor to draw in providers.

Rockets finally get a little local buzz and still no deals with the providers.

Anyone know where we can find out the percentage of homes in Houston that go to each provider? I'm curious how many homes in the the Houston area are unable to get the games right now.
