the same people that say A&M cant compete for the big12 title are the same people that said A&M would get walloped in the SEC, smh. They are gonna go 9-3 or 8-4 this year, and have led by double digits against both Florida and LSU. A&M could very well hang in this years big12 especially given the fact thats its a league full of teams that could care less to play defense.
They're not going to contend for an SEC title in a year in which two projected strong SEC teams (both of whom are on their schedule) are having horrible seasons (Arkansas & Auburn). But they would contend for a Big 12 title, even though they didn't last year, because SEC SEC SEC! They're obviously highly vulnerable to spread/air raid offenses, but put them in a league full of some of the country's best spread offenses, and they will magically do better, because SEC SEC SEC!
Sickening A&M Stats Of The Day from another website: A&M has had the lead in 27 straight football game with 25 of them being double-digit leads. In those 27 games, A&M is 18-9 In the last 21 games, A&M has led by double-digits in 19 of them with a record of 12-9 Unreal.
Interesting timing. If anything, I kind of expected him to decommit after the tough season last year and the Sherman firing, but he stuck with it. Now, A&M has some real momentum as a program with a good showing in their first SEC season and while he's not the feature back, he's getting some run. Why would he transfer now?
Sad to hear about Trey Williams, hope it's not true. I'll ask my donor insiders if they've heard anything. I've been dying for him to get more touches all year. Such an explosive player. Definitely my favorite offensive player to watch on the team this year.
Sam, as a UT fan you should just shut up. A&M will contend for an SEC title in the next few years. They are a program on the rise. Recruiting is going up & Sumlin has them in the right direction while UT needed a game winning drive by Case Mccoy to beat freaking Kansas. You had your glory years, now you must suffer the fate of UT sucktitude for the next 5-6 years or longer if they allow Mack Brown to run the program completely into the ground. UT would get completely blown out of the stadium if they played A&M this season. A&M made a great move by going to the SEC and there is no denying it at this point, so please just shut up.

You are also one of the very few people left in the world who actually supports Mack Brown which exposes you once again as an idiot. The Aggie program is on the way up and the UT football program is on the way down. Accept it and good luck the next few years with Baylor and Kansas. They are your new rivals while Florida and LSU are A&M's new rivals.
I agree that Fla-A&M is never really going to be a rivalry game. We are hardly even going to play them. Our rivals are going to be LSU and Arky who we already have good history with, and if you think otherwise, that is just crazy. A&M-LSU is going to turn into a damn good rivalry, and we instantly became LSU's most natural rival when we joined the SEC. It's going to take some time to develop the hatred, but all the ingredients are there.
