looks bad at first, but you dont know what the discussion was between the husband that died and her, maybe he helped her picking the guy, because he knew he was going to die.

Sounds like you have a little something for her. Also, what is so special about "six figures", you keep repeating it like it is some large sum of money or the end all in a woman. I don't care if a potential mate makes 5 or 6 figures.

12 weeks is too short, she worked way too fast... but then again she is Russian. She should have waited until he was cold.

    Disgusting.

She "stuck" with him ..... Do you know the face she would lose if she didn't? Do you know who she was seeing at the same time? Do you think she wanted to give up his property, life insurance, etc?

12 weeks reeks... You figure 1 week for the funeral and then another week of visitors and settling his estate... Essentially she grieved, dated, fell in love and married in 10 weeks.... Yeah that is disrespectful at a minimum.

Judging by the fact that she most likely cheated on him, I'd say that she didn't stick with him.

She reminds me of that girl in the movie "50/50"

    let us keep this simple.

I love Art and therefore love his wife.

She was an angel for 2 years during his tragic end. As cf.net, you can trust my opinion or not. And I will remember your name... She was an angel...i witnessed it. She is now one of my best friends, ever...for the rest of my life.

the fact that you keep bringing up her salary as a credit to the quality of her character makes me question your perspective on the entire matter.

    RIP to your friend though.

How do you even get a wedding hall that quick? Usually it takes 6 months or so including sending out invitations arranging catering etc. Also usually girls love weddings so they like to plan this out. So most likely she was seeing him before the other guy died. She looks a little older so she knows her clock is ticking down and she doesn't want to have a kid with autism so she probably had to act quick.

People have to do what they have to do. People die it is just a fact of life. There is no point of just dwelling on it. Time to move on with your life because the deceased aren't coming back.

Kept seeing this thread pop up near the top. Thought it was going to have some potential when I clicked on it. :( Disappointed.

    Carry on.

You started a thread of this nature then act appalled that there is discrepancy in how this is perceived? You expected 5 pages of everyone nodding their heads going "Yeah, she's great, awesome story"?

Pretty much my opinion. Especially considering how quickly I got married (though going on 15 years strong) I'm even less inclined to judge on how quick someone else does.

That pretty much settles it. heyp was boning the girl while his BFF was dying and now he's married to her.

yes I did. Yes. "She's great, awesome story" carry on...lasting 15 posts or so. I'm disappointed in the woman phobia of CF.net once again.

    "She's a w****" really? Yeah, I expected that one...didn't you.

my best friend's wife is a w****. What? You think I'm going to let that slide.

"Why do you keep bringing up her salary" What? I said it once then again to the w**** comment. Are some of y'all threatened by that fact? really? Such that you use my mentioning it twice as a reason to chime in on this thread. really?

I just don't see the need to get married in 3 months under any situation. Marriage is a very life changing decision. Why rush in to it? What changes for them if they waited longer to tie the knot? At the end of the day it's just a piece of paper.

I don't see this lasting. Unless the man is in it for the six figures and if so, more power to him. It's about time us men start flipping the script on women and do them like they do us.

It's different for women in their 30's without children. They'll rush into anything to have a kid.

exactly, 3 months is short. it's a short time to plan a wedding for couples that have been together for a long time, let alone a couple that "just met." great, she stuck through cancer, but i bet he had a solid life insurance plan in place for his widowed wife.

whoever said achievement w**** is correct. i deal with these women all day long and it's sickening. stop putting the p***y on a pedestal. high salaried whores are still whores. I'm in a field with a lot of high paid women, doesn't mean jack ****.

You assume they had a wedding and reception. It is short from what we know but we don't know all.
