espn NY just.........can't.........let.......go......of Jlin sad......are they still trying to proof that sign felton was a better deal than letting jlin walk?
D-Will hating on J. Lin http://espn.go.com/new-york/nba/sto...-raymond-felton-better-point-guard-jeremy-lin If i was the first to experience Li-sanity, i would be hating too.
I'll always remember D-Will for that play where Jeremy split a double team and drove right to the basket past Deron's feckless arms. D-Will ended up on his face in Jeremy's wake after tripping over his own feet trying to stop him.
You're absolutely right. Being a starter for most of your career obviously means you're better than those who have generally came off the bench. Signed, Dragic, Lin, Harden
yes Dwill Opinion means so much... he asked to trade for guys like Joe Johnson, Gerald Wallace getting Howard was killed by the Johnson deal
you aren't talking to Deron Williams. you are talking to a guy named t_mac1 who just said that Felton is proven, not that he's better than Lin. There's a difference. you have to comprehend these small nuances for sarcasm to be effective.
Very seldom do you hear a player say, this active player is better than that active player, even when ask. Just like you rarely hear players comment about another player's contract. You can always say something vague to deflect the question if you don't want to answer. Yet all these are happening to Lin. Go figure.
Yep. Players don't even do that with their own teammates let alone two players from completely separate teams. It might be one thing to say "my PG is better than their PG," but to say that about players who aren't even on your team? Nothing new though, Asian players don't get any respect. We should know this well as Rockets fans. You had Erick Freaking Dampier declare himself to be the #2 center in the league behind Dwight while regularly getting shat on by Yao.
Linsanity could have been more of a fluke than Felton's time with the Knicks. DWill's comments are perfectly understandable.
Felton might've a relative unknown prior to the Knicks. He wasn't very famous, he didn't have great stats. But he was a very solid point guard in Charlotte for a very long time. Just like Mike Conley is now in Memphis or George Hill in Indiana. A solid, all around, team-first player, probably a little better than those two. He didn't have a lot of freedom in Charlotte -- no one does under Larry Brown -- but he was a core piece of a playoff team. He was in a horrible shape in Portland, and I've no idea if he will get back to his prior level. But saying that Felton is unproven is just wrong. He's had a solid career, albeit it wasn't in a major market. It's really an indication of a typical 'wait, i thought NBA was just 8 teams' fan.
Why does D-Will feel it neccesary to state this? To give his high school a confidence boost? Seems kinda classless but then he did say he was gonna maul Lin (which he did) after Lin did the same to him the first time. Guess it was that personal to him.
