Actually if we could just get that rumored three team trade from 2 or 3 months ago done between Us the spurs and Raptors done then that would be fine. what difference does that make? they are still not as good as miami's big 3 or the lakers big 3. but i do agree with you about bynum's potential.
I know this has been played to death but Josh Smith will be coming to the Rockets. We have so many fours and ATL is not heading in the "contending" direction right now. Josh Smith, Lin, Harden, Asik is a VERY nice lineup. Actually, the best defensive frontline with one of the most dynamic offensive backcourts in the league. Pasons, Patterson, White and our Pick for Smith. If you can get away with it, find a way to keep Parsons... but, gotta give something!
Big name potential FA next year are Howard, CP3 and Bynum. Is Iggy in his contract year? All of them will be in high demand, but my preference would be in the order of 1. Dwight 2. CP3 3. Iggy 4. Bynum (Yes, I know. I just don't like his attitude.)
Only way I could ever see that happening is if Asik is included and Cousins whines. They may even try to throw their trash contracts with him. Asik, Royce,Aldrich, pick for Cousins, Hayes, Garcia.
IMO Lin/Harden CAN be a top 5 backcourt in the NBA. Add (an up to potential) Bynum to that. The most dominant big man + a top 5 starting backcourt. Yeah, I don't see why they couldn't compete with any "big 3" out there. relax brother, my soul is in good standings
I don't really see us getting Cousins. Maybe Kevin Love will get real unhappy and we can trade for him.
