Complainers gonna complain. I wanted to tank to get a guy like Harden. I just hope there are more moves to come. You need more than 1 star to win.
Doesn't affect how we contract our current players in the slightest. Morey ensures we always have bird rights, even for second rounders. Might impact our ability to play for a max FA this summer, however I think all the contracts coming back expire at the end of this year (except Harden's extension of course).
Yes, this basically solidifies a Heat v. Lakers finals. OKC took a step back for the foreseeable future, unless Lamb goes on a Harden's growth trajectory.
Wow the thunder lost their best Guard...hands down... So the Rockets went from Kyle and Goran to Lin and Harden...impressed...
@WojYahooNBA: To clarify on the Harden extension in Houston, the Rockets could do a four or a five year, maximum extension with him.

For better or worse, this is a major move- probably the tenure-defining move of Morey's career. We gave up a lot, but I think Harden will fit in well with this roster.
Ok now that I see what the full deal is...I'm happy. No need to cry about trading draft picks. The Toronto pick was a nice chip, but the Dallas pick was meh. We have enough young first round draft pick prospects on this team. Morey stockpiled these picks to trade them for a proven commodity! Fact. I like Lamb too, but I doubt he'll ever be a better player than Harden. I think this trade is good for both teams actually. Martin will be good with the Thunder because he is a knock down shooter and he will get plenty of open looks, but we all know he wasn't going to be a Rocket next year. They can develop Lamb around Durant and Westbrook and plus they get picks. Win win.
Hilarious that people think this guy is a bench player. Just because he came off the bench in OKC doesn't make him bench quality, team USA doesn't put bench players on its roster.
true true, your right... but who (realistically) do y'all think we could get that would make us contenders? a superstar obviously, but who?
