If Lamb pans out, we did give up a lot (all those picks can prove to be valuable role players in OKC's grand plan of a championship dynasty + a potential star in Lamb). But to get a star, you have to give up a lot. Harden is only 23. Good thing is we're getting a player on the come-up, so he'll grow with this team and whatever Morey envisions.

There are a lot of posters here who piss and cry no matter what happens. This deal is a giant step for us in eventually developing a team that can compete.
the epitomy of the poor posts in this thread Harden is a 23 year old all star. He is still improving and is FAR from his prime Lamb may or may not develop...he's young and raw. Fact is, IF he develops into an All Star, it won't happen this year or next. We got rid of all that risk and acquired someone who is that star NOW...yet he's still only 23. If Lamb turns out to be an All Star, then OKC didn't lose. Def doesn't mean we lose though
Wow, we gave up the Raptors pick, the Mavs pick and the Hornets 2nd rounder? Plus a lotto pick this yr in Lamb and Martin? Harden better turn into a top 10 player or we got raped.
This is either a huge, huge success; or a big failure. Morey swinging for the fences. Man do I hope he hits that home run. This season just got much more exciting. To bad I can't watch the ****ing games yet.
The Toronto pick is not going to be top 8...they got a lot better by adding Lowry, Jonas, and lotto pick this year without losing a current asset The Dallas pick was not coming to us anytime soon. Martin was not in our plans for the future. Worthy is the lamb tho and I like that bobcats pick. But overall, I'm happy. Good job by both sides...surprised okc pulled the trigger this early.
The pressure is off Lin shoulder. It's now on Harden and there goes the pressure. Lin must be relieved with this trade. I can see Lin smiling......
prob harden agrees to an extension 4 this trade to happen. Still in shock mode.the minute b4 i'm still worrying on lamb's defense, and next....
