LMFAO Rasmussen, they do not even use cell phone numbers in calculations. It is interesting that it is always Rasmussen relied upon by Republicans rather than all the credible polls.
Read it and weep: http://city-countyobserver.com/2012/09/18/which-presidential-polls-are-the-most-accurate-and/ http://www.stamfordadvocate.com/opi...icized-polls-are-often-misleading-3896960.php
And if I may say, not all poor/middle class people have landlines, but practically everyone has a cell phone. Everyone.
Those numbers don't even make sense, unless, by "independents", maybe we should call them, "Undecided white voters who won't betray their race again"? http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2012/10/27/racial-views-new-polls-sh_n_2029423.html Hence Sununu and Trump's latest b.s. broadsides about Colin Powell and Obama's college transcripts.
Nate Silver discusses this issue today. Also as discussed before "independents" that are "Leaners" have very little value. We will find out soon which polls are right.
Of course, the simple explanation for this is that left-leaning independents are more willing to call themselves Democrats than right-leaning independents are willing to call themselves Republicans. This would explain both why the polls show so many more Dems than GOPers and why the independents would lean GOP. Otherwise, I have yet to see anyone explain WHY polls constantly randomly keep calling too many Democrats this cycle. Though, I understand it doesn't feed the "all the polls are wrong!" narrative, so you might be inclined to dismiss it.
