Let's remember what George W. Bush said about that vote. Bush claimed that in order to keep the peace they should vote for war. The idea was that he'd use the authority to go to war in order to keep the peace with Iraq. Too bad so many Democrats took George W. Bush at his word.

The CIA refusing to allow the back up is not a command or refusal from the white house or the President. You're fine not to like him, but to blame him for this isn't supported for any of the facts. It's funny that one of us looks at the FACT that it was the CIA were the ones that refused to send in the requested help, and one of us was blaming the white house... yet you call the one who looked at the FACTS blind. You're wrong. I've been critical of his warrant less wiretapping. I've been critical of his death list, against some of his willingness to give in to Republican demands etc. But I'll still speak out for the truth when people make up crap about him that isn't true.
