I was thinking this very thing. Kind of hoping the Texans can land someone pretty decent, though not expecting it.

Losing a leader like Cushing really stings, I don't want the run D to suffer anymore than it has.

Damn, only 10k...I'd pay that to have Cushing back on the field. What a crappy trade off.

As long as the NFL uses fines to punish players for some dirty hits, any attempt to convince the public they care about player injuries and health is nothing more than a bad joke.

Anyone who follows pro sports knows that the only thing that gets a player's attention is a suspension. To me, a 10k fine is actually worse than the NFL doing nothing at all. What an insult.

The minimum penalty for a dirty hit should be a one game suspension.

I can't say he has the same love of the game that Peterson has, but I'll bet he has the same competitive fire and a greater love of the gym than Peterson. He'll be 100% by the 2013 season opener.

    I honestly don't see how you can't.

    Maybe I'm a homer though.

Maybe Im just not that aware of how much AP loves the game...but imo, I never saw him as anyone that stood out with respect to others.

Is AP well-known for how much he loves the game?? I haven't ever seen him be overly demonstrative on or off the field in regards to football in general, but I also haven't paid much attention to it either. I just know that Cushing is notoriously passionate about football, ever since his days in New Jersey.

My impression is AD is highly passionate about football.

He recently said he wants to play well into his 30s.
