This sucks, one of the main reasons I have cable is to watch Rockets games and the season starts next week? At least one good thing came out of this was that I called Uverse and threaten to leave and I got $60 off every month for the next year. They also said they would check on CSN, but I never heard back from them. Starting to think they were just saying that to make me feel better..

Even though it was blocked out at 7 p.m., they re-played the game at 2 a.m. I made sure I didn't listen to any local news or sports stations, tivoed it and watched it this a.m. Dish had better do something soon or I'll have to switch to Comcast.
They just moved me from Uverse 300 to 450 and upgraded internet speed significantly while cutting my bill by $40/month.
Hold it until preseason is over. if I don't get CSN after teh first regular game, I will make a move.
Perhaps a poor choice of words; I didn't mean the NBA blackout rules, I mean the contract with a network that is not available to tens of thousands of Rocket's fans. In Eastern Texas, there is NO PROVIDER that is carrying the channel. We have no options, none.

It seems like contacting the Rockets and CSN is not working. They are not even responding. Contacting the TV providers is not doing much either at this time... So maybe if this hits the news then they will take some action? It can't hurt to try.
