****'s cray...only happens on my 360 and only with that one song. Can someone with knowledge explain what is happening? Seems the file has an implemented "Play it straight for first time and then change to the super screwed version after playthrough 1" code. Never witnessed something like that and can't explain what is up.

Yeah, but two hip hop artists sampling the same beat within months of each other...hmmm

The album is on Spotify. Listening to it I can't help but think of Prince Paul, except Prince Paul is way better.

Album title acronym was inspired by smoking a bad blunt

    My Angel on Angel Dust.

How do you consider an album to be a classic?

In my eyes, if it's still getting heavy play and doesn't get old after like 10 years. Talking about "Classic" after release is somewhat misleading. An album can have good quality but be forgotten over time.

Got the deluxe edition of Good Kid Maad City off iTunes a couple of days ago and gave it a number of listens. This album is outstanding; the best I've heard in several years. Very few low points. Way too soon to say if it's a classic, but I think it's got a decent shot.

I'm now much more interested in Section 80.

Don't forget Overly Dedicated, people sleep on that. Sometimes feelin it more than Section 80.

I've listened to all but two songs so far on the album.
    I'd give it a solid B. Maybe a B+.

I just don't feel it's as good an album as "Life is good".
I'm a KLamar fan but was underwhelmed by Section 80 and I think I'm underwhelmed by GKMC as well. I'll see how the remaining two songs go.

    Good album not great imo.

Thanks, that's what I'm feelin. His albums are good but there are always like at least 5 songs that are straight skip material for me. None of his albums is great from start to finish.

Hmm..I feel the opposite. To me Section.80 and Good Kid are enthralling start to finish, no skips.

EXACTLY! I feel the exact same way about the albums. It could just be better because he's an absolutely quality rapper. I would expect less from a 2 Chainz/ Gucci mane type, but from him I guess I'm expecting to not even need to hit the skip/next song button.
