Isn't that what they have in Houston now? Asik seems to be a legit big or is getting there fast. And Rockets do have a bunch of good shooters.

No, we just hate the personality of most NBA players.

that only think about money, sex, drugs, egos, drama queens.

And made NBA decrease in popularity all around the world to soccer.

We are supporting a example of integrity, humbly.

A good example for the youngs.

And haters are trying to destroy just because he isnt black...or another racism.

No wonder he can dribble. Kinda tall and skinny for a PG. He has a demeanor of a professor of court. He also seems religious, maybe due to his unfortunate knee breaking, so Lin and he should get along. Maybe they can hold Bible study before each game and pray for each other's game.:)

And they have the #1 offence. Lin is contributing, although his shot is not there.

Let's be clear on something. Lin loves the attention. He loves it. I think as much as Carmelo didn't want to share the spotlight with Lin, the feeling was mutual from Lin's side. OK, he's has the spotlight. He's the centerpiece. He got what he wanted. Good for him. Now it's time for him to stop preening for the media and start working on his game, because his game needs plenty of work.

with all of the commercial opportunities and interview requests he's turned down since february, i'd say it's quite the opposite.

it seems many of the posters here lack a certain...intelligence, or eye for the obvious. take those who were bashing delfino's first game where he missed all of his jumpshots. or those caling lamb a bust because he had a subpar game. or those claiming lin had an atrocious game against the hornets when he made at least five terrific passes while playing completely within the rhythm of the offense. ridiculous, really.

    Turned down?

    Yeah, he's real camera shy.

Well unfortunately he's obligated. You know Les is not paying him to stay in te NBA shadows. He's paying him to bring exposure and publicity to the Rockets. Sure he can do that and work on his game.

He may or may not love it nobody knows all you are doing is inferring your personal prejudice and drawing conclusions of your own & stating them as fact. Personally that is irrelevant to me as a fan. All I care about is that players are working hard, following the system & trying to get wins. Say what you want about his skill level or potential. But the last thing we can say is that he doesn't work hard & isn't dedicated to his craft because he definitely is. Everybody has said that from his former teammates to current teammates to current coaches to former coaches, commentators from summer league, commentators in NY and now commentators in Houston. Everyone says he works hard. The only people that don't think he works hard are people who have negative biases towards him or some of his crazy fans who wanted him to lock himself in a gym 24/7 during the off season as opposed to training 6 hours a day and enjoying his off season.

Thanks for sharing your opinion. Your insight is truly dizzying and without equal. Since Lin's game needs plenty of work, please enlighten us on what John Hollinger was thinking in below article.

    whoa there.

On every messageboard of every team there are knee-jerkers. People who overreact to stuff.

Not sure how long you've been following the Rockets or how long you've lurked here...Raven is hardly a knee-jerk guy. He wants the Rockets to return to something remotely close to what they once were when they found themselves in the NBA Finals 4 times over a 15 year span. Our team has managed to win exactly one playoff series over the course of the last 15 years...that's absurd.

So yeah, there's some impatience generally, and I'm among the impatient.

Having said that...I love me some Jeremy Lin. He's the only Knick I ever rooted for in my entire life.

I think he means that one imperils oneself to the possibility of looking like a negative numbnuts who knows less about basketball than SAS.

    How about 8 of 36 and 0 of 9?

How about six assist and five points per game?

    http://www.nba.com/playerfile/jeremy_lin/game_by_game_stats.html

    Does that get your attention?

I understand this is a "what have you done for me lately" society and viewing a basketball players scoring ability as his sole net worth, then yes, those numbers do get my attention.
