That has been far and away the biggest problem I have with Romney. If this was the Romney that governed Mass. I would be considering voting for him. I got no idea if that is the Romney I might get or the severely conservative Romney. As I said earlier if you are a conservative, liberal or moderate, there is no reason to trust that Romney will advance your views. For that matter even if it is the Romney who governed Mass. he is unlikely to stand up to Congressional Republicans.
Powell laid out a pretty good argument for Obama. Like with Clinton's DNC speech it often seems like others do a better job than Obama himself for making an argument for him.
big number for half a month: Romney raises $111.8 million in October 212 Comments (91) By EMILY SCHULTHEIS | 10/25/12 10:35 AM EDT Mitt Romney's campaign announced this morning that the GOP ticket and the Republican National Committee raised $111.8 million between Oct. 1 and Oct. 17. (PHOTOS: New newspaper endorsements) It's an impressive number, especially given how many months they've now broken the $100 million number. This period includes all three presidential debates and the VP debate, when Romney's strong performance in the first debate especially helped bring in a flurry of donations. (Also on POLITICO: AP poll: Romney 47, Obama 45) The campaign still has just more than $169 million on hand as of Oct. 17, which is a big war chest for the final few weeks of the campaign and enough to really flood the airwaves with ads now through Nov. 6.
Economic growth, lower unemployment, rising incomes, that's all that matters. Either he gets results or he doesn't. No one will care what ideology he followed to get there. Just like if the economy was booming now, no one would care about Obamacare/stimulus/debt.

Funny, all that's happening right now. Well except for the rising incomes, but that hasn't happened for the last 3 presidents so it's not really a factor. So why would we change presidents?
shucks. <blockquote class="twitter-tweet"><p>The DNC is nearly $20.9 million in debt.</p>— Joe Pounder (@PounderFile) <a href="https://twitter.com/PounderFile/status/261597354073935872" data-datetime="2012-10-25T22:37:24+00:00">October 25, 2012</a></blockquote> <script src="//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>
What does George Bush's 8 years as president have to do with teacher salaries in Texas at the time? What does that have to do with rising incomes on a national level? Especially since Bush's being president probably had little to no impact on teacher salaries in one state.
And your current nominee want's to cut them back or fire them all. But yeah, I'd like to see a link on that.
Since you're talking about waste. Liar-in Chief spent more than 300 millions in 5 months trashing Romney. Not exactly money well spent because our next president will be Romney.
Mr. Powell's indictment of Mr. Romney is devastating. Especially on foreign policy. <iframe width="420" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/A4xkGTPfGVk" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
