Just to be clear....you're rooting for the guy, right? I mean, Jeremy being a good NBA player isn't exactly the impossible dream. It's not like putting faith in Yao's foot. Or Tracy's back. Honestly, I just really like Jeremy Lin. I'm glad he's a Rocket, because he's easy to root for, and I don't think the team is going to be all that good regardless.
HAHAHAHAHA.....Lin fans and my fellow rocket fans getting a bit nervous?? Well...can't say i didn't warn you that not offering Goran the player option and signing lynn was a mistake. CHECK THE HISTORY BRO
Lin's bad shooting means nothing. Rockets win or lose means nothing. and BTW, Heat just lost a preseason game to Wizards. and lakers go 0-6.
I don't understand for the life of me why people are panicking. Lin turns out badly, great we got a good pick. Lin does well, great, we have a Point Guard we can build off of. I thought this is what we signed up for when we blew up the team.
wins/losses don't mean anything performance doesn't mean nothing, though. i'm a huge lin fan...and i'm rooting for him. but it's not crazy to be concerned about his shooting so far. it's not crazy to be concerned about his recovery from that injury.
I don't get it...this website is like a revolving wheel. When Lin isn't playing his best, we want to drop him. I guarantee as soon as we trade him and he starts going Linsane again, ya'll will be pissed at the front office for letting him go. Kobe Bryant is hurt, but you don't see LA saying trade him!....same goes for Blake Griffin...and James Harden who is quite frankly sucking eggs right now... and lay off the Lowry crap...he's gone now.
It is hard to be objective when you are human, much easier to align oneself to the edges (see Apple / Android ). Haters will always hate. Supporters will always support. Get use to all the "Ï told you so's..." posts and threads - they are here to stay.
Lin is about the only player to ever want to be traded to Houston. It's f'd up that we are complain about Lowry and Goran leaving when they hated it here.
Ramon Sessions and CJ Watson were still in the free market at the time. They are on par with Lin basketballwise.
Blake Griffin had meniscus surgery in mid July, about 3 and a half months after Lin had his surgery. Yet here was Blake last night: <iframe width="560" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/HHJi4bidlAM" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> There must've been more wrong with Lin's knee than just a minor meniscus tear.
You people are getting trolled so hard by Lin. You just don't have the court vision to see it yet. The trap has been sprung; every single one of you is going to look like clowns very very soon.
Blake didn't use bro science and lost 20lbs. If I weighz lighter, I flyz higher, i performz better. First thing you should know is that you can't do spot reduction weight loss. Meaning, there is no guarantee what muscles might lose, specially if you are in shape. Second, it takes along time/work to gain 10 lbs of lean muscle in a year.im talking about leg explosion and strength. If you are in shape like Lin, Kobe, Duncan, you don't need to lose weight. That weight/muscle they lost is what caused them to degrade in performance These players are victims of bro science. You get what I mean rv6. At the end of the day, you can believe whatever da fawk
Everyone needs to relax. One, it's the preseason. Two, shooting slumps happen. Here are some point who have shot less than 25% from the field over 5 or more games during the regular season: Rafer Alston, Baron Davis, Mark Jackson, Jason Kidd, Kyle Lowry, Andre Miller, Steve Nash, Rajon Rondo, Ricky Rubio, and John Stockton. I think they all turned out okay.
It's not just a shooting slump though. He's not even finishing at the rim, which was a big part of what drove his success last season. He even admitted after the game that just getting into the paint is a huge accomplishment for him right now. I mean, wow, was his knee that bad, that just getting into the paint is considered a milestone? Meanwhile Blake Griffin is looking like Felix Baumgartner.
Blake most likely enhanced his knee with more specialized training rather than losing weight. Cat is like 5% body fat.
Your two PGs were gone before Lin was signed. One wanted to leave, one wanted a contract that the Rockets were not willing to give. Then the Rockets had no PGs so they made Lin an offer. The signing of Lin was NOT the reason your PGs left. It's either Lin or no PGs. Please move on and embrace your new PG.
