In a nutshell he's adjusting to his knee post-surgery.

Surgery in March, no competitive basketball for 6 months, but was working out building muscle mass and endurance. As a result, he's learning to become confident in the knee and trying to find his rhythm and touch.

In other words, he's using the pre-season to get back into NBA game shape.

We'll see if it pans out in the regular season...

 

Nah it's those hypocrites who claim to be rockets fans but pick out individual players to criticize. Those are the real idiots..... Which you happen to be one.

 

Did Lin have a good game or not?Simple answer. If you say no then you are racist by you're twisted demented logic.

 

Rockets are 4-2 in the preseason and we are worrying about Lin. I think he will be happy if the Rockets win 50 games, if he averages 2pts a game, 10 assists a game.

 

Lin always says he is good to go but in fact he isn't.

It's tough to trust his words.

 

I have to admit I went OTT last night with the criticism but you guys have got to understand some of the vitriol aimed towards Lin is because :-

1. We got rid of two superior PG's in the summer that have all star potential.

2. His over-zealous fans who keep force-feeding us the "LiN iz allstar" propaganda based on a ridiculously short sample size & per 48 stats.

3. The fact that he got a $25m contract in the summer for 10 good games & his ethnicity.

4. He went on a month long trip in Asia promoting his brand rather than improving as a player back home & trying to get his knee up to 100%. The fact that he's still saying he's not 100% fit more than 6 months after surgery rubs me the wrong way.

5. He's been stinking up the place. You can spin it anyway you want the fact is he's been a complete calamity on the court in all of his games so far. We've been winning in spite of him if anything else. Any other player and you'd join in bashing him.

As for the scumbags labeling any person who dares criticize Jeremy Lin a racist. I'm currently dating a half-Thai woman myself you self-pitying nutjobs.

Stop playing the race card already.

EDIT: I hope he turns it around but if he doesn't he'll eventually be forgiven if it leads to a lottery pick next year. Win-win situation either way thankfully.

If it's a win/win situation, why all the negativity???? I can't even watch the freaking game on my TV/ I have to stream this bullsh!t you know...

 

You didn't get rid of Lowry and Dragic. Lowry demanded an exit and Dragic priced himself out of Houston. Neither wanted to play for the Rockets anymore, so what was Morey supposed to do?

Stinking up the place? How is 7 pts, 12 assists and 4 steals in the previous game considered stinking? Take off the blinders.

I hate the rabid LOFs but the LOHs like you are worse because nobody can cheer a team win without having to put up with the bashing of one player.

 

Advanced stats so far this PREseason. I changed the match-ups for White, D-Mo and M.Morris considering their actual on-court position/situation.

TJ and Livingston impressed last night. How about we give Lin and PPat some more rehab time? Livingston, Martin, Parsons, Jones, and Asik make a pretty solid starting unit. Rotate Delfino, Lamb, and Moti. But who would you sub in at PG first, between Douglas and Machado?

 

Not saying your racist but I always find it hilarious when people take this route to prove they are not racist. "There's just no way I'm racist! My friends are black!" LOL like dating a HALF Thai chick means there's no way you could be racist :grin:

 

I am a Lin fans.
Some fans believe Lin is a saint because he is a Harvard grad. and Christian.

I don't mind his Asian trip because he had to keep his promises.
But obviously, he was not honest about his recovery.

 

Lin will be fine...no need to bench him otherwise he get injured.

 

Don't you worry. 41 games in, they will either shut up or look like clowns, but yes, I understand that those games just can't come soon enough.

 

Yeah, I'm very high on this team. So many new guys trying to jell, but the preseason so far has been promising.
