He needs to be better still at navigating those picks. A clear weakness in his otherwise excellent defensive showing thus far. Lin better get it together though in terms of his offensive showing as KMart ain't gonna bury those shots all year.
Shout out to PPat. I actually missed him out there. And another shout out to CBang for all the little things that he does right. His hustle is inspiring. This team's gonna outperform I tell you.

LOL. Sigmund was something else. Aside from when he said the really stupid stuff particularly the comment that got him banned.

Do you guys remember the last tall high school phenom PG coming back from serious knee injuries that the Rockets had?

That was what the commentator said too. :( I really hope his knee is fine. Shots come and go, and he can find them, but the knee is a totally different issue...

Sweet win tonight, especially in an away game with unibrow on the floor. Nice to see Jones pick up his game - maybe he had something to prove against his former teammate? Just keep it up.

As for Lin, terrible shooting decisions which he'll need to learn from and not repeat. Otherwise, he was a beast defensively, stuck to his guy like glue and was disruptive as all hell. If I recall that tough defense (not just Lin but the team) is what led to a 17 pt lead that sealed the game. Just keep that going and the shots will undoubtedly return - everybody slumps, just take a look at Harden recently.

I'll bet CBang's quote is what the coaching staff told them as well: A lethargic bogged down game, but great pressure on the defensive end to secure a win. Good job, let's run more next time. Good win.

Apollo33 does a pretty good job trolling in his stead. I thought Gil would step up as the new Sigmund but he's been pretty disappointing this preseason. ;)

Haha sorry :p. I've been patient though! I just want him to start hitting his shots and really there is some miscommunication w/ his bigs to blame but he kept on getting caught in the paint w/ nowhere to go. He is doing a good-to-great job on defense and facilitating the offense sufficiently well. But some bad decisions and bad shooting. I'm nitpicking - but I've got high expectations. I "hope" like others do that he'll pick it up but let it be sooner rather than later.

    Yes. Yes. Yes.
Jones is looking solid. Lin needs to do better on offense. Beasted on defense. Defense is where we'll set our claim to fame, so everyone best understand that.
The team motto should be, disrupt and destroy.

Anyways... Jones looked great! Not a bad replacement for PPatt in a pinch.

Not sure what you mean? Just referring to Jones and Davis being former teammates at UK ... and maybe Jones having something to prove.

I don't think Davis had a bad game, but Jones outplayed him a bit more - which, considering where they were respectively in the draft, was a huge game for Jones.

I thought he was facilitating the offense a lot better than sufficiently well. He was getting no calls tonight which was frustrating. That is where he does the majority of his damage at the FT line if he doesn't get calls then we have problems. But he has to hit his FT's consistently otherwise all that attacking is pointless. And I only care about his outside shot to spread the floor and keep the defense honest because that helps the entire team offensively. But if he keeps playing solid defense & continues to manage the offense well I personally wouldn't complain. Teams are going to make it really hard for him to score this season I can sense it already. He needs to focus on passing, defense & keeping TO's low. I am not using a knee injury as an excuse because he was quick tonight so that doesn't fly with me.
