He was eating at Outback? The poor b*stard! No wonder he's going to China. Tracy must need the bread.

Although I believe that Jordan's Bulls could beat Olajuwon's Rockets, I absolutely respect your view on the matter. Here's the thing, if that boy showed some respect to people here then the BBS would be a better place. LOF, TOF or whatever those silly monickers are, in the end, we support this team.

i wouldn't say anything different from any regular Rocket fan who saw bot h teams play each other in that era. I base my judgement on watching these games. they obviously never played each other in the playoffs, but the Bulls know it was a bad matchup. Did you know that?

michael jordan even mentioned this in an interview

On the Rockets vs. Bulls debate

you want to restart that debate? I'll do it in the GARM.

Any real Rockets fan in that era, and any real Bulls fan knows the outcome of what happened when both of these teams played each other in the early 90s.

I seriously doubt anyone who's favorite player is McGrady was old enough to remember the late 80s and early 90s nba. Their favorite player would be Dream or Jordan or Magic or Bird etc.

I'll see you in the garm.

Here's an example of YOF vs Clutch.

I happen to agree with the stance that the Rockets could have beaten the Bulls as well. Please don't mistake this for saying they would have. As the say, you never know until they play it out on the court.

Anyway, this T-Mac stuff.... there are fundamental flaws in some arguments here. Arguments which have been made hundreds of times before. Arguments which will never be resolved. There is no way to rationally debate the idea that one person is responsible for an entire team losing in the playoffs. I'm not even willing to give Tracy 49% blame, much less majority blame.

    Say what?

Actually, my brother was a Jordan fan. I just caught up. Still, with the heart and drive of Jordan, it's easy to admire his skill and leadership. I'll give the same with Hakeem. His post game is beautiful :).

I'm probably younger than you. I really don't care that much about stats. As I really play the game, I pour my heart and soul for basketball and not just stand in the sides and taking stats like you do.

I really don't like you picking on younger guys/new users just for the sake of rubbing in everyone's face how wrong they are and how you are right all the time. Stop picking on everyone and show some respect. Give consideration and patience. Instead of bashing almost everyone here, just give a normal, intelligent and civil conversation.

See me in the garm? That's funny

My apologies. You have a point there. Just like Pac and Mayweather. Until they matchup, we never really know.

Clutch laying waste to the legions of Yao Only Fans. A thing of beauty! :-D-

(and being nothing but respectful to Yao while doing so, of course!)

The last guy I 'picked on' said that the Rockets dumped Dragic for Howard.
I had to correct him and tell him that they offered Dragic 8 million a year and that he was part of their future plans until he surprisingly chose Phoenix.

you act like this is some utopia, but people get banned all the time.

why don't you just cut the act and just tell me you don't like my criticism of the McGrady fans?

you don't care about stats? what about game results? you obviously do.

aren't you a McGrady fan? aren't you going to tell me he had a great PER in the playoffs? he did.

you do care about stats and the rockets and everything else. you're the one posting bs now.

WRONG. HORRIBLE ANALOGY. Sorry for correcting you, nothing personal.

they did match up. it's called regular season games. they never met in the playoffs, but they sure as hell met in the regular season.

the Rockets and Bulls play 2 times a year. Jordan and Olajuwon came out the same year.

Pac and Mayweather never fought each other in the ring.

Dream and Jordan did play on the same court during NBA regular season games.
Don't deny yourself watching those Bulls vs Rockets clips because you dislike me. Do it for your self education as a Rockets fan. that's if you love the team.

Alright, well let's see now before I leave:

    1. You act like this is some utopia, but people get banned all the time.
I don't. Oh yes I'm a great pretender. Pretend that I'm doing well...

    2. You don't care about stats? What about game results? You obviously do.
Like I said sir, I care but not that much. Not as much as you obviously.

    3. Aren't you a McGrady fan? Aren't you going to tell me he had a great PER in the playoffs? he did.
Yes I am. I'm not going to tell you about his PER because you obviously know my friend.

    4. You do care about stats and the rockets and everything else. You're the one posting bs now.
Please refer to question no. 2 for the stats. As for the rockets, of course I care. This team has heart. This team has fight in them. I am the team I represent just like you. I'm sure we'll both agree on this one.

So take a chill pill and relax. We all are on the same team. Drink a beer or something. I know I would. Actually, I'll do it right now and grab a bite as well. Until next time :).

    Redwhiteone,

the problem with the younger Rockets fans is some of them are quick to dismiss the Clutch City Rockets with Hakeem Olajuwon.

Fans back in the day after the Rockets won two championships had to defend their championships against people saying crap like Jordan was not there and they didn't stand a chance.

Even Clutch to this day gets that dumb question. he corrects them and says, Jordan was there in 95, he lost to the Magic.

And the sad thing is time and youtube does not do justice of how good our championship team and MVP were.

did you even watch any of those Dream videos against the Bulls I posted?

I did not nor will I question the championship years. Although I am a fan of Jordan, a championship is a championship. The team earned it and they deserve it. I admittedly quickly dismissed Bulls v. Rockets but realized that they should not be compared in the first place. As for the videos? Did not watch.

This comment of yours is much better than the ones posted before. No unnecessary bashing. I will concede with your knowledge of the Rockets and your devotion for the team (I never questioned it) but I still consider T-Mac as one of my favorite players. Young rockets such as I need to be enlightened more about the history of the team. No need to 'pick' on the young ones.

If you have paid attention to any topic related to the Rockets championships, they bring up Jordan and the Bulls every time.

Why not? Is it because I posted them, what if some other person posted them? say RTM posted them?

If you are a fan of Jordan why would you not want to watch him? he's in those videos. I promise :)

Or do you not want to watch them because it may prove my point right, that the Rockets were a bad matchup?

    just curious.

You know my stance on Tracy McGrady, yet I'll watch the videos. Even RTM's videos. Just because I'm a NBA Fan and I'm curious.
