I feel mildly insulted to be lumped with everyone as a "b****er and moaner." In fact, my opinion is that the "b****ers and moaners" are a minority here. I tend to see far more posts filled with possibly unfounded wild exuberance about the current team and its future, when waiting to see how we play in games that count just might be a reasonable idea before declaring our future dynasty. So why do we need a thread complaining about b****ing and moaning? Isn't that in fact b****ing and moaning by definition? b****ing and moaning about b****ing and moaning?
Not sure who you're talking to...but you're painting with an awfully broad brush. I will also note that disagreeing with your assertion (and others like it) that Royce White is the next Magic Johnson does not mean I have nothing positive to say about the Rockets.
magic johnson is one of the greatest players of all time. predicting royce to be that is just plain stupid. his game does remind me of magic, but he is far, far,far,far,far,far,far away from being magic.

It was the same thing last season. The west was tough and they still "over achieved". Just like the year before that.
Not sure if that's b****ing and moaning, or stating the fact that the Rockets have the youngest roster in the entire NBA, and there hasn't been very many teams this young in the history of the NBA(if any at all) to have playoff success in their first year together without a clear cut future superstar in the making(ala 2004 Lebron James/Cavaliers). If the Rockets drafted a future stud this year then its quite possible that they will be a good team, but if their young players are anything short of Lebron James' talent level its just not going to happen. Doesn't mean that nobody is excited about this young team though. I bet even the pro-tankers on this site will still catch themselves getting excited during close games with the Lakers, Heat, or whomever, and root for them to win during the actual games just by fan default.
I've been surprised that Asik doesn't seem to have cement hands. Nothing else has surprised me in a positive way.
last year you said we could win 2 championships in 5 years. the problem with you is either you are purposely posting outrageous threads to get attention or you actually believe this. the problem is that your post insults every one's knowledge of the nba. you don't use any facts to back up any of your statements and you throw out names of legends like they were regular joes. this year's team has some exciting rookies, yes. the last time the rockets had some exciting young players like steve francis or eddie griffin, they had a horrible record. you even said it yourself that young teams need time to develop. which means they are going to be bad and make mistakes.
I have said many times that they will have trouble early and mid way in the season they will start to turn that corner. Btw, this was the first time you have ever said anything positive about this team. Welcome back from the 90's.
you are mistaken about my comments about the team vs my comments against you, the worst poster on clutchfans. I don't want the Rockets to suck like you do. Last year you wanted Thabeet to start. I don't want the Rockets to have the worst player in the league be our starting center.
I'm really impressed by Omer. He's got a toughness to him. I guess working with Axel Foley all those years will do that for you
