I was in the stands on the opposite side and I couldn't tell, but judging from twitter it sounded like he did. Those refs deserved it.
Those OLIMPIA dudes were annoying. I was holding the Heinhault banner when he scored. I held it up to their faces after the score. Take that, OLIMP*tos.
Crazy match but I am glad we got the tie needed to advance. Hope that the Dynamo get a home playoff game so the season isn't over for BBVA but we will have to see.
Either Wednesday the 31st or the following weekend depending on our final seeding. And at this point we may not have a home game. If you buy a ticket now and we don't have a game they'll send a refund.
yeah! we're finally getting some sort of rhythm. The team has played a lot better in the 442 time to celebrate <iframe width="420" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/jket0oRYZeg" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
I was aware of that and that was why I'm not so excited about that email. What do you all think are our odds for the game at Denver? Resting some players for lower playoff seed? Colorado will try to spoil.
I'd rather play at full strength and try for the home game. They are a completely different team on the road, I would go for homefield at any cost
Depending on how the earlier games go we may not have a chance at moving up. But I agree if you have a shot at the 3rd or 4th seed you have to try to get it. If not then rest guys and start preparing for a road game on Wednesday.
awesome, dynamo will play against Santos in the next round of CCL on March 2013 can't wait, will go see:grin:

Excited for the game tonight. Since I'm not one of the lucky few that has CSN Houston, my decision on what to watch tonight was made pretty easy. It's tough to feel great about any postseason game on the road, that's the nature of sports in general, but I have a lot of faith in Dom and the guys. They were in almost this exact same position last season and we saw how that turned out. And I would argue that this Dynamo team is more talented and has more top-end potential than that one.
And the first goal of the 2012 playoffs is a vintage 2011 playoffs goal, a head off of a corner kick. 1-0 good guys.
