after seeing cam weaver on saturday, I just ran into Mac Kandji at the Armani Exchange in the galleria
Just read this. You're joking right? Neither of them could still play at the top level(for a Champions League caliber team in Europe, and contribute regularly-they wouldn't be first choice on team sheets). They would be able to cut it at some midtable sides but to say they(or rather Nesta) could play at almost any team in the world right now is highly incorrect. Nesta isn't exactly shutting down every striker he faces in MLS. He has been quite good but has been beaten as well and in some other leagues would be left on the grass by quality strikers. Anyway, good season by Montreal regardless.
Not really a soccer fan, but wanted to put this out there. My brother own's a men's clothing store in Rice Village called the Class Room and is teaming up with some of the Dynamos players for a charity event. If you guys want to check it out here's some info. http://theclassroomshop.com/wpblog/2012/10/12/calen-carrs-big-play-bowling-event

So Dynamo-Union match, I don't care how the match is going, just know that at half-time the Dynamo Cheerleaders are in Halloween outfits. Some very nice outfits. Dare I say the Dynamo girls might be better(hotter) than the Rockets Power dancers?
Dynamo up 2-1 now. Yes, they are. I've said it time and time again, but the Dynamo girls are way hotter than the RPDs lately. Probably since 2008ish? The old RPD choreographer is the current Dynamo choreographer. Well, at least I still think it's Marilu

Another big game tomorrow for the Dynamo.A win or a tie and they will advance to the Quarterfinals of the CONCACAF Champions League next spring, in March 2013.
I'm so glad that the Dynamo have sewn up a playoff spot before this Champions League game. I was worried that Dom was going to have to pull off a delicate balancing act in trying to qualify for the playoffs and make it to the quarters of the CCL at the same time. I'm guessing that Dom throws something pretty close to a first-run lineup out there against Olimpia tomorrow night. The Dynamo can still play for positioning this coming Saturday against Colorado, but they would need some help from both New York and Chicago, so I'm guessing Dom gives some guys some rest in that one. Plus, Colorado has been out of the playoff race for quite some time and they're terrible, so a makeshift lineup might be all you need.
^ Thinking about this... I won't see any good players at tonight's game? EDIT: http://bit.ly/70KFacebook <- 30% off tickets. I'll be in the supporters' section.
That free kick goal was a screamer. I think hall stops it though. I'm at the game and the Olimpia fans are more numerous and a whole heck of a lot louder than the dynamo fans, can't imagine how loud one of their games in Tegucigalpa is. There was a challenge in the Olimpia box that looked as if it could have been a pk from where I'm sitting. Also, hopefully Dom got his money's worth because this game is going to get uglier if the refs don't control it.
That Andre goal was a huge momentum swing. Brought the crowd back into the game and shut up those Hondurans. Great game. Concacaf games are always fun
Yeah like I thought the game got out of hand. Glad we won and didn't lose anybody to a red. Not sure about card accumulation. Any word on who we face next round/when that'll be?
Home and away knockout stage. They lineup all the group winners and seed them 1-8 by how much they kicked ass in their group. As of this second, the Dynamo are the three seed.
