And has been our story since last year.

Not to mention, the Ravens injuries are on DEFENSE. We made their OFFENSE look pretty damn horrible.

The AFC is the Texans' "beach" so far...love it!

It's pretty simple, actually. See if you can follow along.

    We're 6-1.

But because we've beaten all 6 teams that we've beaten, that makes us better than all 6 of them. So those 6 wins are meaningless because they were against inferior opponents.

The only way to become a contender is to beat a superior team. But if we beat a superior team, they are no longer superior. So in essence, the only way to become a contender is to beat a team we lose to at the exact same time.

In contrast, The Broncos are 3-3. However, they could easily be 6-0 if they were 6-0. For this reason, they are contenders.

    Got it?

It sounds more like you don't understand the definition of a contender. Because if the Texans aren't a contender... there are no contenders.

I think it's fairly obvious the NFC is, collectively, the better conference. But that's irrelevant when we're discussing a single 60-minute football game. The 5 playoff losers in the NFC being better than the 5 playoff losers in the AFC has no bearing on the likelihood of the NFC prevailing in the Super Bowl. There are no consolation games.

If Rodgers/Brees/Manning has a bad day; if (insert significant player here) gets hurt; if Matt Schaub plays out of his mind; if all the balls bounce the Texans' way, etc., etc. Literally *any*thing can happen in a single game.

But in terms of the Texans' contender status - it is, at this current time, undeniable.

So did the Chiefs. The Ravens O is so inconsisent. Joe Flacco isn't special. Once they wakeup and realize he is never going to take that next step, they will be better off.

Not trying to be a homer, but I think the game against the texans was much worse than the score shows.

I don't get why Flacco is so adamant on proving he is elite. The Ravens offense revolves around Ray Rice and there's no way around it. They are similar to the Texans in that they depend on a good running game to set up their vertical game. Joe Flacco is a decent QB but he's not going to all of a sudden become Aaron Rodgers nor will he ever be.
