No, he won't be cavorting around with Hollywood and pro athletes ad nauseum. He's got too much work to actually do.

Didn't watch the debate. Kind of depressing reading reactions to Romney's performance. Prior to this election year, he was the one republican candidate I would've considered voting for.

He brought up Detroit to illustrate the difference between him and Obama. He's for car companies being competitive. He's not for the government subsidizing companies so workers can make $150,000+ a year just by screwing 4 bolts into the door of a car on an assembly line.

bottom line, Romney is more fluent on economic policy, including trade, than Obama is on foreign policy.

a Romney win, and huge, considering the subject.

You guys are either all nuts or can't see without your party glasses on..........nobody won this debate and doubt it really changes any minds.........in the end, most who will vote have already decided, the question is will they go out and vote, those that haven't decide, what the hell is wrong with them - these two could not be any more polar opposites - this is not like deciding between a light red shirt and dark red shirt, this is night and day..........

It's too bad, A_3PO, that you missed the closing statements. President Obama's was very strong. Romney's was all over the place.

Over all, while the President started off a bit slow, he quickly found his stride and simply hammered Romney on foreign policy. Just hammered him. The President won this debate, in my opinion, as strongly as Romney won the first one. I just hope there was a good audience. Are people awake on Monday nights?

don't mean he killed Obama, but just holding his own, and the many pivots to econ policy, helped him. for a challenger to stay even on FP is huge.

Indeed. (I think what you mean to say was, "Say hello to your next President: Mr Romney." But your lack of a dash or colon after "president" and the use of a comma instead shows that Romney will be saying hello to the next president, which would be Obama ;))

So, from what I gather, no matter who wins, we're pretty much screwed for the next four years?

Off topic, but if IE is saying scripts are making the page run slow, do you want to disable, you can fix it by putting basso on ignore.

    Carry on.
