I'm annoyed by Romney's swing toward the economy, but he's emphasized strength, security, and peace over Obama who talks about democracy. I'm genuinely happy with this answer.
Why? The polls are even, but Obama has the advantage on foreign policy, but Romney has the advantage on the economy according to the people. If Romney can show that he's not a complete idiot on foreign policy (and he's done much, much better than my very low expectations), that's fine.
Remember at the end of Terminator 2, when the T-1000 falls into the molten metal and he starts morphing into the different people he imitated, this debate is a lot like that with Romney as the T-1000.
This election reminds me a lot of the election in 2004. Bush was going toe to toe with Kerry, and the election came down to Ohio. Both Bush and Obama were presiding over anemic economies with a strong foreign policy backing. This election will be close. edit: Domestic issues prevailing here.
No meaningul difference, though you know Romney has virtually all his foreign advisors as recycled neo-cons. So Romney means more war. He can't admit it though.
Yeah, I laughed when he said that. What does he expect? The voters to feel sorry for him because the President is pointing out his countless contradictory statements?
