    No, they don't.

    23 million
    16 trillion

    Obama is done.

Those are the facts. Romney is winning going away.

Ooh I have been sonned numerous times in one post. LOL

Using the same rhetoric here is why people won't take you seriously when you make these bold proclamations.

my opinion of the scorecard so far :)

    1st Debate
    Romney >>> Obama
Not much to say here.. Romney came in on the attack and Obama was just not interested and came in unprepared.

    VP Debate
No one really cares about the VP debate but I think this one was a wash. Biden came across as an ass and unprofessional and Ryan came across as trying too hard and came across as fake.

    2nd Debate
    Obama > Romney
Romney at times did seem to get unraveled a bit .. and his constant interruption of trying to get the last word in was a bit annoying.

    Al Smith Dinner
Romney > Obama .. Romney was funnier and had the better punchlines/jokes.. and his closing statement although standard was a bit more personal than Obama's and probably scored him some points since people always thought Romney was a robot and not human.

Why do people insist on blaming Obama for the deficit when he is responsible for so little of government spending? Most of the growth in the deficit is from inherited Republican policy from 200-2008 (including tax cuts, increased military spending and TARP), a Republican economic crash and the fact that all tax and spending bills arise in the Republican controlled House?

And why do people think Romney would be a deficit reducer when the GOP has a proven big spend/low tax history. He hasn't actually proposed anything to lower the deficit and certainly not drastically.

And Dwight Howard will be a Rocket. I bet you $10,000.

Mitt "Gordon Gecko" Romney might indeed win---he's a great liar; he knows most people won't fact-check his B.S.---but it'd be close, and certainly no need to celebrate.

Double post here, but man if people are happy that Romney's elected... Lord have mercy. Obama isn't doing a perfect job but holy hell it's at least not going to be as bad as Romney is going to make it.

This is what simple-minded people do with facts. Here's another stupid recitation of facts if you're a Dem/liberal:

    Bush- 4,000+ dead in Iraq
    Obama- 4 dead in Libya

    Winner: Obama

That's about the same type of intellectual sedation as quoting 23 million and 16 trillion as indictments against Obama. And that's what lacking in many of the extreme Republicans/conservatives- intellectual laziness. I don't really give a donkey's d**k about who you predict is going to win- I do take offense to your lack of reason, because as someone who comes across as smart, you're being purposefully dumb to suit your political ideology.

Of course he can't. I presented time and time again employment figures that put Obama smack dab in the middle in terms of outcomes, and he continues to purposefully be stupid about it. I will say, for example, "Unemployment went from 7.6% at the beginning of 1981 to 10.8% by the end of Reagan's 2nd year, then back down to 7.5% by October." "Unemployment went from 8.3% at the beginning of Obama's term, went to 10% by the end of his first year, and went to 7.8% now".

And this is his argument, "yes, but look how dramatically it went down- much better!!" What he fails to mention is that in a LONGER period, 2 years, UE went up nearly by 3%- that's MANY more jobs lost than Obama, for whom the UE peaked at 10%, but only by his 9th month- translation- LESS JOBS LOST INITIALLY UNDER OBAMA.

And then, to be further intellectually dishonest, they'll say, "Yes, but more total jobs lost under Obama." Yes, true. Also true that there are MORE PEOPLE NOW THAN IN 1980-1984- DUH!!!! You just want to smack them for being intentionally dishonest- it's the Rush Limbaugh school of selective factoidism.

It's like saying, "All Time Box Office Revenue Generator was Avatar, much more than Jaws- thererefore, More Popular!!" Ignoring the difference in ticket prices between 1976 and 2009.

What it comes down to is that when analyzing things such as a Presidential performance, you have to look at all factors involved, not just spit out something like "UE at over 8% for ___ consecutive months!!" Intellectually lazy and dishonest people do that- and unfortunately, those who can't get past the 1st level of Bloom's Taxonomy of Learning buy it hook, line, and sinker.

Bush: Got Iraq, world's biggest oil reserve.
Obama: Holding onto Iraq but made no progress on Iran's oil.

    Winner: Bush.

I'm getting eager to see the two fellows square off and get after it. Bob Schieffer has moderated the last debates in the last two presidential contests in 2004 and 2008. I expect him to do a good job tonight. I also expect the President to be at the top of his game. He better be! Which Romney will show up? Beats me. He was an unhappy man last time, and thoroughly pissed off more than once, although he tried to hide it, succeeding for the most part.

Gotta say this is a angry face, folks.

Romney completely destroyed Obama in tonights debate. Obama was completely outmatched by Romney. Romney will win big on November 6th. Mark my words, son.

The debate hasn't started yet? Oh whoops. I'll be back in a few hours.
