Nice effort by the Redskins, but wins and losses aren't important for RG3 right now. He was great today against a very good defense. Props to him.
Even in a loss, this game just proved to me that RG3 is better than Andrew Luck Luck also plays on a better team as currently contrusted in a worse divison I know its still early.. blah, blah. but thats my opinion
Re-entering the Field of Play A player may not run out of bounds and then run back inbounds to make a play. For example, a receiver may not run down the sidelines, step out of bounds and make a catch. If a player makes a catch under those circumstances, a penalty flag is thrown for illegal touching. However, if the player is shoved out of bounds by a defensive player and then gets back inbounds as quickly as possible, the illegal touching penalty flag is not thrown, and the catch can be ruled as legal by the officials.
Yes, I thought the receiver was shoved out of bounds and then did come back in bounds as quickly as possible to make the catch. In the post game I believe they said if the QB is out of the pocket then it is legal for the defender to push the receiver out, and then the receiver cannot legally catch the ball.
Sanchez is awful. What a terrible throw. Jets were idiots to extend him. Some of the stuff I read over the summer implied he had changed his ways and dedicated himself to improving. Sure doesn't look like it.
