Don't know man, I lost all my faith in German players at tournament finals. We will probably crush every opponent, then semi-final or final comes and the team will mess up in some idiotic way. Feel like the first step is to sell or bench Kroos, both on Bayern and the National Team. I'm already prepared to write this generation off as the most skilled Bayern and German teams ever that will never win a title. Some change needs to happen, maybe put in two real leaders into each squad that carry the game and hold up the morale in decisive moments(van Bommel, Lucio in Bayern's last teams. Frings, Ballack in Germany's recent past). We already have enough world-class players in terms of skills and offense, so putting in two leaders with slightly less skills but more balls wouldn't hurt the team. Also...fire Löw already, he doesn't react to criticism and seems to be in his own little world, every interview after a major loss in the last 5+ years has been like: "We will learn from that, this will help us. No, the team has enough leaders and we are one of the best in the world, I don't see the need to change anything. I don't listen to any critiques, I know what I'm doin, look at my record". Tired of it...
I really like the football team under Klinsmann(08).I'm supporting the England team in 08(??),but when they get eliminated I was hoping you guys get to finals. Who do u want to to replace Löw?
Löw was already in place 08, Klinsmann quit after the 06 WC. Who do I want to replace him? Honestly no idea, maybe Klopp or Slomka.
Yeah i was meaning the 06 WC....I know Low was his assistant or something similar,but at that time Low seems to be a good replacement for Klinsmann..maybe i was a kid at that time
Yea he was assistant coach and responsible for strategy and everything. Klinsmann was more of an innovator and motivator(what we needed at the time). Right now Hansi Flick is doing great as assistant and overqualified, he could be Löw's successor in my opinion. Read many interviews and articles about him, he's responsible for large part of research about opposing teams and finding strategies for games.
England doesn't even look good anyhow in tournaments, they won't win anything if they don't overhaul their complete approach in the National Team. Look how fast and exciting Premier League is and compare it to Three Lions. England has been playing that "all defend except for one striker and when you get the ball try to do a 50m pass over half of the pitch to somehow score a goal" system for years. No short passing or modern approach anyhow. At least Germany has the right concept.
I've quit wishing England winning either Euro or WC so I go with Germany - although it seems Spain is going 2 dominate tho.
Saw Arsenal's game yesterday. Must have been the effects of the champions league, because they played like tired trash against a crappy QPR. I think they need a fresh manager to shake things up. With that said, Liverpool v Everton derby!!! I expect a grand fireworks of colorful cards flying in the air. Let's go good guys! YNWA
Shame the outcome of the Liverpool derby ended in a draw. Unfortunate because the ref was actually decent... it just the lineman that blew it in the last minute. Should have been 3-2 for LFC. Oh well, it won't be as friendly for Everton once they come to Anfield.
I would like to buy a new Clattenburg Manchester United kit. That was one of the most horrendously one sided refereeing ive ever seen, even Indonesian local league never seen reffing that bad, he should be investigated
I don't care for either team. I strongly dislike (hate) Wayne "Ogre" Rooney and never liked Chelsea. But it's well known that Fergie has the refs in his pocket, but they could at least try not to make it so obvious yesterday. On another note, Tevez' goal was a killer. So much so, he got the keeper injured.
Just read news that Clattenburg made racist remarks about Obi Mikel during the game and numerous players heard him call Torres and Mata "Spanish Twats". No joke, pretty sick stuff.
