Reputation has gone overblown in epic proportion in this day in age and that's sad... Back in my day Reputation was overrated and once you're done with High School , people don't give a damn anymore, most people moved with their lives... What pisses me off the most about the people who claim it was her fault, no it was NOT, yes she chose some provocative things to do, but she was FAR TOO YOUNG, and NAIVE....BC culture is totally different than ours anyways, I agree parents should have been involved more, espesh after the "attempted suicide", and "cutting", whether it be the DOCS. fault, or the Parents, she must have been looked after very HARD at that point, in the US that is a 5150- but look no matter where you live a 15 year old or a teen's brain is not MATURE enough it has not GROWN enough to completely grasp the society that one was born in. -As well suicides by teens are RARELY produced in the news, or for that matter national news because for the exact reasons as stated above, their brains have not matured, thus the rate of suicides in teens is astronomically higher, I think I read some where it is like 500-600% higher-so for this Canada story to come out all over North America, and even has spawned over to Europe...the story is tragic...and "Anonymous" was right to get involved in this, they aren't going to do anything, man they gave some of the wrong info.,but hey it sends a message to those that comment, and leave SLANDER, or the person....WHO POSTED THE AUTOPSY PHOTOS!! like WTF!? The irony really is that she, and these generations of young folk, see the internet as real, without the "curtain"-and for the late Ms. Todd the irony is not only was it her place to vent, but it was also her own prison. We all do questionable things, even as we get older :um clear throats um: so I can't judge the mistakes she made as a TEENAGER. Though, It does seem like she really enjoyed the internetz. Maybe she never ignored social media because it was her way to express herself. who knows but the video posted is eerie with a flare for the dramatic. I would have personally gone with tears for fears' mad world as my backdrop music...the gary jules version is lame. And those idiots from her school should all be suspended/failed at least, very cruel and heartless of them.
You obviously have not noticed that kids think the internet is real, kind of like we think....CLUTCHFANS IS SO REAL, and Players have to read this, and GMs get all their info. from us....C'mon man she was 15 of course she was naive, and didn't understand this...We as people who didn't "grow up" with a Facebook, or Myspace, (I was in college before any of these came out, and my second year in college both were running well)- but flash forward almost a decade, these kids can be however old, they don't need the "College E-mail anymore", so now you have kids, that think that Facebook is real, and they're lives revolve around how many friends they have on FB, real, or, not....I see this with the younger high school age kids. I have some educational experience, I am not a teacher, but I do deal with schools sometimes, and students, and I see bullying, but the internet is where the bullying becomes, well it isn't said to your face, it is put up for anyone and everyone to see, she could delete the account etc, she did move, she did a lot...but yea she was NAIVE, let's just accept the fact....A lot of guys, and girls did way worse things that maybe "they" weren't made fun of for, or it didn't last long, and they got over it, tons of variables, but how she was stalked, and slandered online, basically extorted...She just didn't understand bc of her young mind, that a few months, a delete of the Facebook for a while, etc etc. etc.....maybe she could have, but she didn't these kids see the internet like some see this BBS-it is real?!-but we are hiding behind screen names, and such, and to add the late Ms. Todd was being made fun of by far more people than you could imagine, she couldn't block everything, yes deleting the account, and ignoring it would have been smart, just sad...Seems like she was a cheerleader, pretty girl, and had a little ambition before all the sadness got to her, she was just too young to understand a little time, and it would blow over, even if it took her till finishing high school, but her brain could only comprehend the "now"-If you understand the human brain, and the growth of it compared to an adult, things like this would make sense, many teens, adolescents commit suicide over something maybe "naive", or "not smart", but it happens, yet people want to pick on this one particular bullying, and suicide, and make jokes....If she were a dude in high school she'd have got praise for the "provocative nature" some say she "had", I think it was a young girl doing what A TON OF YOUNG GIRLS DO....Hate to say it, if you have a kid watch what they are doing....I have a niece about to be a teen, and that's my "baby", and I see her she's been so smart with computers since she was young, maybe I look at the late Ms. Todd, and relate to what I've seen, and what I have in my life, but I wouldn't wish the bullying that some of these kids, "hypersensitive" or not, wouldn't wish that on anyone....And yes bullying has existed forever...the internet though makes people that don't even know her, able to pick on her, "release her autopsy nude photos", etc. , etc. It's disgusting look into your own third eye people with the hatred comments, and introspect yourself, maybe you have some deep underlying hate that needs to be examined by oneself...and I don't mean just you, or necessarily you in this reply, I'm speaking to all those that think "she made her bed, so lie in it" ya ok
ummm...ya she liked it along with all of the nation who has access, and she's a young kid, apparently all those people commenting on her stuff must have "loved the internetz" so whatever man, who cares, yes that is what is happening these days, have you not noticed, I don't know how old you are, but when I was that age I played sports probably about 5 hours a day including school, my life consisted of sports, football, basketball, golf, track, but...over the years the internet has been where kids do things, that is also why it is a "bad" thing at times for these "naive" children...but that's the way it is now the internet is huge now, and these kids love the "internetz"

That's why it's important to preach family at a very young age to these kids, they already want their own independence/ screw that ****.. When I mean family I don't mean mom/dad/brothers/sisters... I'm talking bout cousins/lots of them/close friends/uncle/nieces/neighborhood friends, keep em close if they are loving.. If your friends ain't got your back from incidence like this it's good to have family around and step up... Yea, pretty sick, and disgusting-Her pics of her autopsy photos were revealed...she made a youtube video of her death in sept...she died monday by taking her own life....She was stalked, bullied, etc..and thought that this moment was all there was. She was far too young to understand, and grew up in Canada/B.C. so the culture is quite different there...Honestly I kind of thought that Canadians, like the French were very close with family, I don't know why she was not 5150'd so to speak like we have here in the states, she wasn't emancipated from her parents, so it would have been quite easy, but her parents continued to think things would get better, bc after all when one grows, espesh parents they try, and think back and relate, and they know that this moment only will be there for so long, she just could not comprehend that this crazy stalker should have had the cops called on him, school should have punished individuals, I was a freshman in high school when the internet was still a tad "rare", dial up was the only thing available still, and there were websites posted of provocative things girls had done, and the people that published the material, and such were punished...Not sure why this was able to drag out as long as it did, but this shows the bullying of the hyper sensitive kids these days, they need more parental love, satisfaction, they need to be something else besides "living on the internet"- But she and her story is tragic...Summary...Lots of hatred in here as well, and a lot of hatred after her death, obv. whoever posted her nude autopsy photos is sick, and the stalker she had stalking her is SICK, and demented
That's the calling card for teenagers doing things that make absolutely no sense and shows their sensitive and impulsive nature. Which is one of the big reasons why I think people who engage themselves with teenagers, especially younger ones should be punished extensively. The ability of being cognizant for one's age should be irrelevant for someone who is considered a minor. Todd made some unwise decision, but she was a child. Everyone who keeps saying all she needed to do was suck it up and just sock someone in the face to stop the bullying. It's not that simple, there's difference between being bullied and being publicly shamed/embarrassed through physical and internet bullying being confronted by several other teenagers, while also being manipulated and threatened by an adult male. There's no simple solution for that cavemen...
....depends on the state, but yup that does go into account. In Texas, however, you better have a good lawyer, and not one "given" to you....Look that analogy is kind of there...but kind of not...Suicide, and murder (which I assume is what you speak of when, or if we remember the underdeveloped brain giving one youngster, which has happened, they just are on death row for a while, and die as "adults", but depending on the crime I think it goes a long way...in that moral dilemma question, I have never been for the death penalty, far too many statistics I studied showed me that innocent people die, or didn't have a fair trial albeit, evidence, lack there of or whatever, or maybe DNA not being available etc., etc., but yes these young people that do crimes as young kids, are evaluated, and most don't get the death penalty...I do not know the stats, but I'd bet that most "youths" ("Did you say youts" sorry Joe Pesci haha) but I'd gather that most young crime victims are either in jail for 25 years plus, and they probably get the chance of parole....look some youngsters are charged as adults, but Yes we do understand the brain structure, and yes that is taken into effect, not sure why it deals with this subject though...Like I said I'm not for the death penalty, and only know so much, but I know that any person, regardless of their age is looked at by tons of psychs....
