It's not funny, it's painfully awkward. He hasn't earned the right to get paid to do his job poorly.

Clyde is so full of useless commentary, you have to laugh. He proves he doesn't need stats in every broadcast - hell, I'm not sure he needs to even watch the game to make the commentary he does.

Mike Newlin used to be a pretty good commentary guy, but I can understand people thinking he was boring. Calvin Murphy is like what you get when you cross Mike Newlin with Clyde Drexler and throw in Dolemite.

worrell sucks utter balls. ever since calvin left, bill's shameless, unadulterated bias has gone unchecked.

i understand he's employed by the rockets and every team broadcaster is bias, but my god, worrell's bias is out of control.

Clyde Drexler is horrible at his job is what it comes down to.

He doesn't even take the effort to prepare for his job. He just shows up and talks. He probably doesn't even watch any other games besides the ones he commentates on. He has probably never been on NBA.com or ESPN.com.

He insults every single person out there who has tried to make it in the sports broadcasting field. Those who actually care about doing a good job.

Honestly every sports team has a commentator whose main purpose is to simply talk. Heck when i watch my rockets i want to hear biased commentary. I could care less about stats. Now added you need someone to balance out that bias, which worell doesen't provide hence the angry masses. I don't really care i like worell's southern drawl and i like my rockets. Id rather listen to them then those jackass celtic announcers. If i want some smart basketball commentary i'll just watch the games hubie brown is covering.

I think you're spot on. So that's 41 home games plus our game in Miami each year. I think he is also willing to travel to LA occasionally.

So many Drexler haters lol. Drexler has bball knowledge and experience all of us combined, that's why he's a HOFer and we are not. So what he doesn't know all these players, he knows the game.

His ****ing job is to know the players and the game. Quit making excuses about what he did as a player, he's an announcer now. Jesus.

He's the color commentator only. He's here to give out general insight about bball which he knows in abundance. He even adds the bonus of making a joke once in a while. He doesn't have to know every player and their stats.

To be fair I doubt I could name every player on the Rockets right now.

Clyde saying stats aren't everything is just his excuse for not taking his job seriously.

He's known to get to Toyota Center late. He's the last to come in and the first the leave. He's lazy and pretty unprofessional when it comes to commentators. He doesn't do his home work and it shows.
