Man us Birds need a little educating sometimes but we have common sense...that commen sense tells us not to put two very poisonous things on our hands.

The animals are smart enough to know that if they bite the hand, it will sink and they, too, will die.

EDIT: never mind, I know some animals do these things at will :(

I'm not going to lie. That's some crazy **** and my heart started racing a bit just watching it.

I want to be spiders friends - they do some cool things - but I just can't...

We have a pretty big spider living in a hanging plant in our backyard. I don't think it's poisonous, though not sure. It's not tarantula big, but much bigger than your typical house/yard spider. I know it's just eating all the mosquitos and such in the backyard... but I kind of just want to kill it. I just know my son is going to walk right through its web one day (not possible now, but if she builds her web a lot bigger/lower, it could happen.

    I'd kill it right away.

I once believed the idea that spiders will leave you alone if you leave them alone. It didn't turn out well.

Back in the days of N64, I had a friend come over to play WCW vs NWO Revenge. He remarked that there was a large spider on the inside of the window by the front door. I told him that if we leave spiders alone, they would leave us alone.

About an hour into the game, I was whoopin' his ass when I felt a sharp pain in the back of my neck. (We were sitting on the floor.) I reached behind my head and grabbed the spider and squished it.

Luckily, it wasn't anything poisonous and all I got out of it was a big nasty lump on the back of my neck, but ever since then when I see a spider near where I live, I kill it immediately.

But then again maybe this is a bad approach because I have been bit by spiders 6 times in my life, that one being the first. So maybe my spider genocide has motivated the little bastards to seek me out. And being 6'4" and apparently slow in the head doesn't help, because I always seem to walk into webs face-first.
