As far as I know for the nexus 7 it added landscape support on the home screen. For both GN and N7 it fixed an issue with connecting to 802.1x wi-fi networks with PEAP authentication. Nothing TOO major but that wi-fi fix is huge for those that connect to wifi at work such as myself :).

There are more things but those are the top two off the top of my head..

Not sure yet. My motorola xoom got this update on 10/16/12 OTA.

I'm thinking its just bug fixes.

Btw....freaking love how Google is supporting the xoom. So quick. In line with the nexus.

I think the LG Nexus will be a great phone. I also think that there will be likely other Nexus phones.

Personally, I'm waiting for that GORGEOUS HTC J Butterfly to hit the US, then I'll decide between it and the Asus Padfone 2. The Padfone 2 is an awesome proposition: $1000 for a phone + full 10" tablet, gorgeous display, quad core, all the GSM bands including T-Mobile AWS, AND LTE. Unless the HTC J blows me away the Padfone 2 is it for me.

Just wondering, but I thought the HTC J Butterfly wasn't going to hit the U.S. Market. I don't remember where I read/heard it, but it was something about the phone staying only in the Japan Market.

The Padfone 2 is pretty damn awesome. Saw the video preview the other day, looks really good, that display is really awesome and combining it with that tablet, can't get much better than that.

I love the concept of the pad phone but in my experience having two separate devices can sometimes be pretty awesome. Playing on phone while watching ESPN or netflix :). It's probably just me though. I have such a need for multitasking.

if i were to commit to an android phone..which phone currently has the best build quality? I am actually hoping to get a Nokia Lumia but if that doesn't work out, I don't mind trying android again.

The S3 just feels so cheap...not saying it is. just feels cheap.

I'd say the EVO 4g LTE from Sprint, but that's because I have one.

But then, you have to deal with Sprint.

I guess I can wait around to see what's going to happen on the 29th with Google and Microsoft.

Looks like there might be a new Nexus Tablet coming out, and also possibly a 3G Nexus 7 along with the new Nexus phone. All set to be announced next Monday...

Except the Evo is a one-piece aluminum body. It also has a micro Sd slot, a kickstand, and a dedicated shutter button.

Leaked pics of the Nexus 10 Tablet.

    Specs:
    Samsung Exynos 5250
    Clocked at 1.7 GHz
    Dual-core Cortex-A15
    Mali-T604 GPU
    2GB RAM
16GB internal storage (other options possible)
    10.1-inch Super AMOLED display
    2560 x 1600 pixel resolution
    298.9 pixels-per-inch
    5-megapixel rear-facing camera
    LED flash
    Front-facing camera
    NFC
    WiFi
    Bluetooth 4.0
Dual speakers located on front of device

The Exynos 5 dual-core processor is supposedly better than all of the quad-core processors out there today.

I don't like the design too much but that resolution is definitely better than the iPad going by those specs.

I'm guessing this will cost between $349-$399, which is still more than I'm willing to pay for a tablet. My wife loves her Nexus 7. If we get a second tablet, it will probably be another Nexus 7. From my standpoint, Apple missed the boat on price with the iPad "mini" and I will probably never buy a tablet from them.

    Pentile?

I have a Nexus 7, and the size is perfect. But this looks good.

Good question. I know Samsung has already made a non-pentile 1280x720 super amoled screen(Galaxy note 2) but at that high of a resolution I doubt it is non pentile.
