No problem Max. They are stacked by the flowers to the right of the registers when you walk in.

I see. It happens to be MY store as well. I wonder if I've run in to you. I'll be there this evening getting Pumpkinator on my way home!

I definitely think it is "an acquired taste" kind of thing. My friends hate it.

i live at that store, so probably. when i die they should scatter my ashes over the intersection of memorial and dairy ashford. La Hacienda for the win! :)

i actually sacked groceries at that store during summers in high school.

YOu can actually order a lot of good beer online now (including Pumking).

I've used Let'sPour.com to get west coast brews that I haven't been able to find elsewhere - the prices are a little higher than a grocery store but if you order 6 bottles they cover the shipping.

    Edit - here's the link.

    http://www.letspour.com/deals/911-2012-Southern-Tier-Imperial-Pumking-

They're charging 11 for it, which for the record that's about 3$ markup over what I'd pay for it at a whole foods across the street, but really the beer is pretty darned good.

Shiner is overrated. I can barely drink any of their **** anymore.

    Too mainstream.

the taste of shiner bock is seared into my mind. it's not a matter of whether it's good or bad, shiner bock just is. it's holy, and it should not be denied it's proper place in the pantheon of great things to get drunk on. shiner bock is the lubrication for many a college hook up in austin. god bless shiner bock.
