I'm happy this is a competitive game. For some reason I thought since both teams can get through with a tie, this was going to be a a zero-zero affair.

    Dempsey stole that goal.

I kinda read their lips after.

Dempsey said something like "I didn't mean to steal, wanted to make sure it was in." Bradley said "I don't give a f*** who scored." Pretty funny

It was prolly in, but who cares?

Angle looked like it was iffy it was going in. Regardless, if theres any doubt that it may not go in, Deuce should put it in.

    Which Bradley obviously understood.

That was better. With the exception of the opening minutes, allowing them to score (and carla ruiz for that matter), the US actually looked like the better team that they are. I didn't see the game against A&B so I can't speak to what was different.

I will say that I'm liking the new Eddie Johnson. There's something very different about his game now. Might be as simple as confidence. He and Dempsey could create quite a combo given a little more time together.

Indeed, and remember that the heart of Team USA will been 2 years OLDER when the World Cup starts. Yikes!

2 goals out of 25 shots, MEXICO, really?

Just the USMNT's, or the entire country's soccer?

You can see the difference without Donovan. Slower.

    See ya'll in February!

yep, and some were very easy shots, I hope Mexico can get better at scoring, next year, Mexico will play against better teams, and you cant waste most of the opportunities.

    United States
    Mexico
    Honduras
    Panama
    Jamaica
    Costa Rica

Out of those 6, 3 automatically qualify and the 4th plays the top team from Oceania (probably New Zealand).

If I had to predict today, I'd say it ends...

    1. mexico
    2. United States
    3. Honduras

    4. Costa Rica
    5. Panama
    6. Jamaica

    I'd go:

    1. US
    2. Mexico
    3. Honduras
    4. Costa Rica
    5. Jamaica
    6. Panama

I don't see Mexico beating the US.

    Bhahahaha!

    At least you're consistent.

You do know the game USA won in Mexico was against 2nd and 3rd teamers right?

Butthurt? I'm not Mexican and I don't even like their B squad that USA beat....in a friendly.

The door is close to shutting for team USA unless one of the younger players turn out to be something special. Their stars are OLD.

I think you're right. Jabari Parker is really going to be something.

Do you know why Chicharito played in a friendly match with a team that consisted of not the usual starters? Simple, it was a friendly with the USMNT that didn't even manage to fill up the "filthy" Azteca stadium. In other words are the Rockets better than the Thunder based on a pre season game?
