[Unofficial] Pre-Season games thread

LeBron is just in sick shape right now, expectin an even better season this year. The MJ comparisons will be legit in two or three years.

 

Man, wondering if the Spurs drafted the next tony parker in nando de colo. It looks like he played a great game..

Cant believe Presti signed Thabeet. He is such a joke.

 

Glad to see Melo is still his old self. 6/11 shots going into half-time while the Celtics look smooth. Jeff Green looks like he will live up to his contract.

 

On crappy streams and at the games, I am going to have a hard time telling PJ3 and KD apart. They even wear the same leg tights.

 

Tonight was streamed? Didn't think it was. PJ3 had some stellar numbers and looked very good in the highlights. Same for Maynor. Watching him feed Collison for the jam was a reminder of how he, Harden and Collison form a dynamic trio. Will be a fun season to watch.

On the other hand, the Bobcats will be terrible. They are a complete waste of time. May as well fold the franchise and farm the players out.

As far as I know it wasn't streamed - just had issues with the highlight reel.

 

PJ3 looks awesome. Great pick from the Thunder.

I love that Perry Jones is using the number 3

 

He obviously doesn't want people confusing him with his father or grandfather

 

The NBA is against Roman numerals and denied his request for Jones III on the back of his jersey. Even the stuffy NFL allowed RG3 to have Griffin III.

 

People should watch the Raptors-Wizards. Valanciunas is being insane right now at the start. Emeka Okafor got killed so badly on a post up....

We'll see. Right now, the hype over PJ3 is feverish. Makes me laugh. People should remember rookie performances against soft, pre-season defenses usually don't translate once the real games begin. A lot of folks are setting themselves up for disappointment.

I think a realistic hope is he becomes a regular part of the rotation before the season ends. It will take a while for him to come along, if he ever does. I'm no Scott Brooks fan, but OKC fans are already primed to beat him up over PJ3's playing time, which is nuts.
