Martin is a borderline buy low. I think you'll still have to pay close to full price for Spiller, cause potential is still through the roof.
^ Is that sarcasm? Because I picked him up to replace Rivers next week. Need some advice about a trade proposal: I send Jamaal Charles & AJ Green, I receive Foster & Vernon Davis Is this an even trade? My current lineup: QB: Rivers, Cutler RB: Chris Johnson, Jamaal Charles, Steven Jackson, Mendenhall WR: AJ Green, Calvin Johnson, Vincent Jackson, Reggie Wayne, Greg Jennings TE: Jermichael Finley, Owen Daniels Texans D I plan to drop Jennings for Alex Green/Felix Jones/some RB depth It's an 8-team league. Thanks
We adjusted it to: Get: Foster & Vernon Davis Send: Charles, AJ Green, Owen Daniels Not feeling good about it even though I want a better RB1 Any help is appreciated!
I have quite a few decent RB (Bradshaw, Gore, Mendenhal, Greene, Tate), but no outstanding backs. My WR are Calvin J, Welker, AJ Green, Bowe, Britt. 3WR, 2RB and 1Flex. I'm trying to work out a deal to get me a top tier RB. Any suggestions on how to do this? My problem is, I never know who to play at RB. Like last week I played Mend and Gore who got me 10 points, while Greene and Bradshaw on the bench combined for over 55. If I had a crappy fantasy week starting Rice or Foster, I wouldnt care because you'd start them no matter what, but I hate just guessing with these guys. I never make trades, probably because I think it's a way more fair deal than it actually is. I have 2 outstanding trades, let me know what you think (yes, I might be dilusional). Send Greene and Bowe for R. Rice or Send Calvin and Geene for Foster and V. Jackson. Are either of these trades bad for me? I think the 2nd one is a more fair deal. I also don't mind sending Calvin because my QB is Stafford, so I've had a couple weeks were when one sucks, the other sucks, so it's a double whammy. Of course it does go the other way too.
Have an offer for Megatron and Spiller for my Cruz and Ridley. Yahoo projections are showing me getting the good end of the deal but I don't see it. Calvin hasn't scored many TD's this which gets you the points. Anyways, should I take the deal
Dont take it, or ask for a better RB. If Nicks keeps going out, Cruz value is much higher than Calvin (or at minimum, equal). Ridley>Spiller
I have Nicks, D. Thomas, and Harvin as my WR's. The guy is high on Ridley as he offered Spiller and James Jones for him last week. I counter offered the deal with Thomas, Cruz, Ridley, R. Bush for Megatron, A.J. Green, and Spiller.
I was in the same position. For a good RB in return, you would have to package Calvin Johnson or AJ Greene. In my trade, the other team wasn't sold on Johnson - however my instinct says Stafford/Johnson will do better than Dalton/Green. If you can persuade a Foster or Rice owner to take either Johnson/Green + Bradshaw/Gore, I think you should do it.
That's what I thought, but we made the trade anyway - I had picked up Daniels from waivers just 2 weeks back and I decided Foster was worth it. Vernon Davis is not a bad filler either I guess. Can't predict his play from here on but he put up numbers till this point.
Well my counter offer got declined so I offered cruz, ridley, and bush for megatron, spiller, and r. wayne
Palmer. Good solid QB, has Moore healthy. Jags pass D is somewhat decent but they are just a bad team and he'll have a chance to produce. Solid choice. Bills are woeful, but Hasselbeck has much more limited upside. Cutler is boom or bust -- he can light it up or give you a horrible piece of horse manure. You don't want to wait till the bright lights are on on Monday night to find out.
