Just grabbed 4 from Randalls Westheimer / Gessner. Heard Specs on Old Farm / Westheimer is getting their shipment tomorrow around 11.
Picked up 2 at the Specs at Westheimer & Kirkwood at lunch today. They said they had abot 9 cases but they're going fast.
Hopefully you are right about that, I will check there tomorrow. Haven't been able to find any. I have been to 3 spec's and they all said they sold out in about an hour. Madness.
Well I went in there yesterday around noon and talked to some old guy and he said to check back Wednesday around 11. I might call first before taking a trip.
Agreed. Grocery stores in general are just better bets in my mind than a liquor store. The people who buy these things up normally hit the liquor store first.
pumpkin beer sucks. southern tier makes the pumpking, maybe the best of the bunch, but i can't drink more than one.
My Randall's I frequent is always a ghost town, so I thought if anyone would have them in stock it would be them. I went there tonight, looked around for forever, and finally asked an employee when they get them in. He started shaking his head back and forth non stop and said that Randall's aren't supposed to carry them after 2 guys almost killed each other over one last year at another location. It's too much trouble to sell. All Randall's were supposed to be emailed about that. I was like uh pretty sure some Randall's in town are selling them but okay. So I just bought the St. Arnold's Christmas Ale that had just hit shelves instead.
Went to four different stores on the way home and was able to score eight bottles of it. Drank one last night because I was so pumped, really enjoyed it, great beer to just sit back and sip on. A lot more flavor than I expected but the spice taste was awesome and it wasn't too pumpkiny. Stopped by the HEB close to work this morning and was able to purchase their last bottle.
