I haven't been stoked for a Super Bowl Halftime show since Prince took the stage a few years ago. I think this should be a good one- our H-town girl taking the stage in New Orleans. Hopefully she does a great job, just gives me reasons to post her pics :grin:
I can't think of a single song of hers that I like. She's terrible, who cares that she's from Houston.
^^^This. She has good PR people, though. Remember the year when she sang practically every Best Song nominee at the Academy Awards? Who besides Jay Z really wants her for the Halftime Show?
I liked her (music-wise) better back when she was with Destiny's Child. Both her singing and her dancing are too forced and overdone. As for her looks...she's been slipping in that area too over the past several years. 5-10 years ago she was one of THE hottest young women out there. Today she's still very attractive and easy on the eyes (yes of course I'd still hit it, duh), but aging has not been kind to her. She's 31 years old...there are a number of late 20s/early 30s women that are better looking. I expect this SB halftime show to be mediocre and forgettable.
I feel you should be asking yourself the second question. I posted this ish cos I would still smash Beyonce if the opportunity ever came up. Plus, I know this may come as shocking news to you but I'm just a tad sure straight dudes also watch the halftime show. I might be wrong but I kinda doubt it. Anyway, should be better than the crap they've put out last year with Madonna and the year before with the Black Eyed Pea's.
