I just got the 5 from Sprint last week. So far its been pretty good. I'm not that tech savvy when it comes to network speeds but so far it has been up to par with my EVO 4G LTE maybe a little slower. LTE service is pretty good in Houston - I live in Midtown and go to school Downtown for what its worth. The 3G speeds aren't bad either.
<br> I get LTE almost everywhere. The only places it is spotty is in random corners of the suburbs (don't think it matters which) but I would say it's great 90% of the time. 3G on sprint isn't bad at all. Obviously you want to use LTE whenever possible though. Also, for those of you who don't know this: the best way to purchase a 5 is to order off of the Apple store online after 10pm. Apple updates their inventories at this time or something along those lines and there will pretty much always be at least one store in the city that you can "pick up in person" from. It's better than getting on a waiting list.
I don't get it... I'm getting almost two days out of it right now. I haven't turned anything off either. It's a revelation compared to the galaxy nexus I had before this.
That's what I wanted to hear. CNET said the battery life was equivalent to the razr maxx HD which comes out tomorrow.
Depends what your money situation is. If it's not an option and you're willing to buy whatever, then I'd wait for the 5s. I love my iPhone 5, but you might as well wait for the added features and the added refinement.
you might not have to wait tilll Aug..I don't think Apple would want to wait 6 more months after the announcement of galaxy s4 (next week) to release iphone 5s or 6.

I'm no longer a big fan of the iPhone (it's not as innovative as it should be, apple has been coasting for a while now), but its integration with my other Mac products is unbeatable.
To me, Apple's iOs is so well put together that I would never even attempt to use any other kind of phone. Then again, thats just my opinion. Android may be cleaner/easier to use for other people
Does anyone have any input on running with their iphone 5? Nike+ is a good tool for me as a beginning runner. Question is will the iphone 5 be able to stand the sweat and motion of running? Don't want to kill my phone just sweating while running. A reply on this thread is appreciated and even better is a visitor message on my user profile. And yes I have a otterbox commuter case but I'm not a fan of the Arm bands. I have long head phones and and some shirts with zip able pockets
Honestly if you can wait, you should wait for the 6. I love my 5 but the S's have never been that big of an upgrade. I'd get the 5 and then upgrade in 2 years to the 6 and not wait a few more months for the 5s...it just starts your upgrading clock later if you wait for the 5s...unless you don't want the 6
I personally don't run with a phone but I'm pretty sure they make waterproof armbands. My lady does run with hers and has a sports armband and she hasn't had any problems...I will try to find out what kind she has later. You could even think about just splurging for a runners watch that will track everything.
