This doesn't even make any sense. No one here has said A&M will win, so who's mouth are you talking about? You made this claim:

And then you said "heck no" you won't bet on it after RMJosh offered. It sounds like you're the only one not putting your money where your mouth is.

Huh? What are you talking about bro. I'm an Aggie fan and I'm a known longhorn hater on this bbs, look at my history. But I'm here to tell you that A&M does not stand a chance at LSU and I COULD NOT believe that vegas had the line at -3 LSU. It's now moved to -4, but dayum that's still easy money.

The loss to Florida is more positive than the win at Tech. Nobody is giving you any BS.

You're usually a level headed poster major, you really are, but you're trying too hard on this one. There was a poster, in this thread, who said the aggies would win the game and I said "you're out of your mind if you think the aggies will win this game". That's how it all started. Nothing more and nothing less.

Come on Major. I do not think the Aggies will be in this game at all but I'd be a fool to give someone 20 freaking points with cash on the line. You're smarter than this major. Do you want to put money on this Major? If so, I'll give you -11 the same as I'm giving Ziggy. If not, please stop stirring the pot. -11 points is generous as hell, but I'm not giving anyone 20.

I'll do that bro. I'll give you -11. The vegas line is -4 and moving. I bet it's -6.5 by the end of the week.

No - that's simply not true. The poster you're referring to, RMJosh, said:

I disagree, I think they can beat LSU since they're at home

He never said A&M would win the game - he said they could, to which you responded that he's out of his mind. NO ONE in this thread has said the Aggies will win.

Isn't that the very definition of not putting your money where your mouth is? I agree that it would be foolish, and I don't think there's anything wrong with not betting on what you believe would happen. But you were the one the tried to ridiculously call people out for doing just that.

Here's the whole paragraph. Notice the bolded part. Does that equal "A&M will win" to you?

I disagree, I think they can beat LSU since they're at home, the defense can play well, they played Florida well defensively in both halfs, and LSU has struggled against some mediocre teams this year. But the defense is going to have to deliver, Klingsbury will have to call a perfect game and have some gimmick pee-pee plays up his sleeve, and Manziel will have to limit his knucklehead plays and let his receivers go get balls. I give TAMU a 35% chance of beating LSU. Manziel can do it, he just needs to get his **** together. College football blows my mind, people are talking Heisman for Manziel despite serious deficiencies.

(Sorry, it was Ziggy, not RMJosh)

I think you must be an attorney. I don't think there is a difference between saying "can" and "will" when talking about the outcome of a sporting event. I'm saying I don't think they can and this poster is saying that they can and I'm telling him he's out of his mind if he thinks that. My stance: A&M CAN'T BEAT LSU, THEREFORE THEY WON'T.

What do you think will happen Major? Do you think A&M can or will beat LSU? I think we know the answer. I'll still offer you the -11 to the tip jar if you want it.

Yes, of course I think they can. LSU has a number of huge deficiencies on offense, and A&M is very much unproven. I wouldn't be surprised by either team winning and have no idea how this game might play out.

This seems extremely dumb to me. Even if I think Baylor will beat Texas this weekend, it doesn't mean I don't think Texan can win. That doesn't even make any sense to me.

Um, there's a huge difference in people saying something is possible v. something is set in stone.

I'm staying out of this for the most part, because I honestly don't know how the game is going to go. However, this is an asinine view on sports. You're saying that because a team CAN beat another team, then they WILL?? CAN the Bengals beat the Browns? Of course. Did they? No. CAN the Texans beat the Packers? Absolutely. Did they? No. Sports is not black and white. There are thousands of factors and variables that occur at any particular moment in a game that sways things one way or another. It really doesn't make sense to say CAN THEREFORE WILL. And by the way, CAN THEREFORE WILL is totally, 100% different than CAN'T THEREFORE WON'T. Your logical reasoning is flawed.

Especially when said person specifically said he gave the Aggies a 35% chance of winning.

In a sporting event it's not because it's a given that on any given day a team "can" beat another team. Everyone knows that. So saying that someone "can" beat someone else is what's dumb. Of course they can, that's a given and it should go without saying. That's not even a prediction so why even say it at all?

The Rockets can beat the Lakers this year, but they probably won't. Get it?

I'm saying it doesn't make any sense at all to say that a team "can" beat another team. It really doesn't accomplish anything nor set your viewpoint in any way. It's a waste of breath to say that because of course they can - especially in this case where you have two top 25 teams.

I thought the 35% thing was pretty telling. Guess not. Lul.

So you're not bold enough to make a prediction and you leave the door open for either team to win and you try to jump on my case for making a prediction and putting my money up on it. Just doesn't compute for me, sorry.

You're still butt hurt about my Miami/LeBron predictions. I also predicted the Texans to lose to Green Bay. Sactown predictions have been spot on bro. But, you're mad.
