We all know not to go into a TV thread if we are behind episodes. But more recently, talking about Trailers of the upcoming show has become common.

Please note that at the end of a show, many people purposely do not watch trailers of the next episode. We don't want any hints about the next show. This happened in both Dexter and Homeland threads this week.

Compromise suggestion: Please spoiler all trailer posts and spoiler your responses to them, too.

    thank you, that is all.

Unless the video auto plays, why is this a big deal? Simply don't click on the play button.

No one is stupid enough to click the play button when it's is announced as a trailer. But the COMMENTS about the trailer are a big deal. And then the replies are often not spoilered.

Trust me, trailer information is being leaked into our TV threads and are not being spoilered.

Please Spoiler trailer info like we always do in movie threads like Batman, and such. I think people are just getting lazy with the TV threads for some reason.

There's no way Clutch is going to open the Styx forum to all contributing members.

That would spoil the whole thing.

It is still odd to me that folks would venture into a discussion thread about a show that has aired and be surprised that they may find out something revealed on the show or in the aftermath of the show (e.g. "next week on...").

I'm up-to-date on pretty much all shows. That's why we go into the discussion threads--to talk about the show.

I'm not sure what you are saying. I'm just saying some info of upcoming episodes are leaked on the internet. Plus, discussions about the trailer itself spoils the next show for a lot of us. Just please SPOILER info revealed about upcoming shows and comments/replies to trailers. It's not that hard.

You could always redirect the videos to Rick Rolls. After all, we have seen your power.

I am saying that I find it odd when folks go into discussion threads about a show and are upset when they find out about a show that has already aired including the "coming next week on <insert show here>".

It is different if someone has seen something that is not commonly available as a preview or has intimate knowledge of a show.

I am not arguing for or against the use of spoilers.
