Looks by the preview that Estes is finally going to get on board with taking Brody down.

So close to some full blown U.C.C. (Ugly Carrie Crying) this episode; season won't be complete for me without Carrie turning into a blubbering mess and her uncontrollable quivering lower lip.

Carrie be damned if she is going to die in her freak-um dress.

Where the hell is Brody's son? I'm not complaining because, sweet baby Jesus, he was annoying in the first season.

That was a much better episode. Finally, something goes the company's way and he actually gets to share the video with Carrie. During the airport scene when they confiscate his bag I was thinking "mother****er, here we go again"

Are all of the next 9 episodes going to be cliffhangers? How long can they keep this up?

    She's a great hoe-stess.

Just watched last night's episode. Really good. This season is finally starting to get interesting. I don't know why but I feel as though someone in the CIA is a bad guy too and I can't help but to think its Saul. Hopefully I'm wrong.

Loved how Mike initially declined the "night cap" and then after the wife says that Brody banged that other girl, he's all "yeah, a night cap sounds good"

It's going to get out that Brody and Carrie hooked up (remember when Brody asked Carrie not to tell anyone) and it'll ruin Brody's VP run. Then Brody will think that Carrie let it slip and the conflict begins.

Strictly ad-libbed, I did not see this anywhere, so don't get all emo about it.

Director is playing no games! No drawing out the story lines like most shows some of these episodes feel like a season finale.

I wonder if Homeland is going to scrap this premise for a whole new one in season 3. At the end of the past couple of shows I have literally said "where do they go from here?". they haven't found that CIA mole they were alluding to in the first season yet.

    No Ugly Carrie Crying again...

I like it. But one possible direction is that they'll turn Brody into a double-agent, and then (like the first season) there will again be the question of which side he's really on.

Do not read below if you haven't seen latest episode.

So, the most obvious conclusion I think one can draw from last night is they will turn Brody and use him to bring down the head militant guy he was working for. Where else can they go at this point? If you just lock Brody up, then he ceases as a character.

My question is...was that part of the plan all along or did Carrie actually blow the undercover op they had going by confronting him in his hotel room? They told her to go home from the bar and, instead, she went to his room and spilled the beans. I'm assuming the writers wanted us to believe Carrie did that on her own accord because she just couldn't deal with the situation any more after all she had been through. She wanted him to know she went through all that and she was right. It was her glory hole moment. She had to have known they could probably flip him back as well.

Assuming she did that on her own...it seemed kind of irresponsible on her part because, if they can't flip him, then they have blown their way in to defeat the main terrorist guy. The other way of trailing and monitoring him was probably their best method going forward.

Maybe they should villify her again for ruining the op and give her more shocks to the head?

Her concern was legitimate. If Brody got spooked and they let him send out a distress signal, that could screw up the entire operation. She made a judgment call that instead they need to bring him in -- a known terrorist collaborator -- and first extract as much information as they can about his whereabouts.

I think she sort of earn a bit of trust from them because her intuition on Brody was on point in the first place.

I almost got the feeling she did it for selfish reasons because she blurted how how she "loved" him...almost like she is trying to get him to turn back so she can be with him down the road. However, I did not see Season One at all really other than a few things. I don't understand how Carrie ended up sleeping with this guy in the first place considering he was a married man. I assume she got involved as part of an op to prove he was a terrorist per the evidence they were following and she fell for him after he won her trust at some point. But, she sure looked like she still loves the guy last night and I'm thinking this is her way to get him back eventually. The other outcome was that Brody and the militant would eventually be taken down after the undercover op...but I don't see her really wanting that cause she still loves Brody. And, I'm not clear why Brody cheated on his wife with her in the first place? Was that just something that happened where Carrie let her feelings get in the way of the op in season one?

I guess I need to go back and watch season one. lol

I actually thought it was more of a self-defense mechanism on her part. Brody is walking towards her in a threatening manner, and she's trying to give him a bit of pause by putting that out there. In truth, she had some complex feelings for him which she probably doesn't understand herself.
