The obvious answer is JJ Watt so let's go with the 2nd most impressive Texan player so far. What Texans player has surprised and impressed you the most?

    Kareem Jackson
    Keyshawn Martin
    Brice McCain
    Ben Jones
    Matt Schaub
    Owen Daniels

I went with Martin based on his regular season contribution thus far... Kubiak said overall he did well in the return kick offs, obvious made some mistakes but will get even better. He also made some good catches too

schaub is what he is, a hell of a player. Anybody else gets 4,000 and 20+tds, posters are ready to drop their panties but for schaub it's just another season. So I wasn't really impressed with the winning streak he had going.

Owen Daniels- now we're talking. What if I told you his numbers are on par with the gronk but has more plays over 20 yards than him? all he's missing is a pornstar wearing his jersey!
I am impressed because He's doing it after 1,000,000 knee surgeries. the double move he pulled on the jets was sickening.

Also Kareem- He's come a long way. It's unfortunate that his reputation proceeds him among the zebra circle.

I don't know why mccain is on the list. He has underperformed since last season.

lastly, hope to see mas Keyshawn.

As far as impressive goes Jackson, he still doesn't turn his head around sometimes but for the most part he hasn't been a liability.

definitely Kareem. He's made so much progress since his first year. He isn't continually getting beat down the field and/or falling/slipping at the line of scrimmage.

It's nice to include Ben Jones in this list, for a mid round rookie playing out of his position, he's already having an impact. I voted for Daniels because he's carrying the pass game so far.

Honestly, outside of Watt...no Texan has really stood out to me as being really impressive. Most of the guys in your list have been solid and meeting expectations, but nothing outstanding. If I had to pick, I guess I'd go with Owen Daniels...he's been consistent.

    Schaub, most definitely.

Until Sunday, he had thrown 8 TDs and only 2 INTs. The team had also won 9 games in a row with him starting, dating back to last year.

And man....that Denver game showed me something. If I got hit like that and had a piece of my EAR taken off, I'd be in traction for a month. Dude grabbed his helmet and went right back in.

Please let's not start the elite vs. non-elite nonsense again...

Kareem is making huge leaps in improvement ever season, which is great to see.

All of out TE's along with Casey have been rock solid, at least in regards to pass-catching.

Braman has been killing it on ST.

Braman, K Jax, James Casey and Owen Daniels are all having their best years.

Jackson because of the grand canyon between where he was his rookie year to where he is now.

Went with Ben Jones, given he was drafted only to be a backup C/G, with Brandon Brooks pegged to challenge and pitted against Caldwell for all of training camp, but some how surpassed him. On field he is very much still rough but still a impressive young player.

Surprised anyone would put Brice McCain in this poll, dude has fallen apart compared to last season.

I would put Glover Quinn instead of Brice McCain, Quinn has played great, most of the games.
Kareem Jackson has surprised me, how is he improving.

but I voted for Owen Daniels he has been a key piece in the passing game.
