Tried the pumpkinator. Fantastic beer. Starts off like a pumpkiny root beer and then a heavy licorice taste takes precedence. At the end there's a huge kick of imperial stout flavor. Great brew. I enjoyed my "collectible bottle".
Its baaaaaaack. Got my two bottles this morning from HEB on Fountainview / Westheimer. Even though the ****s jacked up the price to $8.49. I have leads on 2 other places supposed to be getting their shipments over the next 24 hours. Its amazing what people will tell you if you are holding a cute baby.
Um, there are plenty of local brews in Texas... where people drinks tons of... beer? After giving the world Coors, your state should be banned from making beer.
no offense but st. arnolds in general is just an above average beer. nothing worth going across town to find a 6 pack unless you just believe in the hype
St. Arnolds is ale... and it's delicious because it IS above average. The pumpkin ale is good I bet but not worth dealing with the hype. Worth buying if its available.
St. Arnold's latest offerings haven't impressed me much. Pumpkinator is well worth it though. Crazy good.
DR9 and Pumpkinator are the same thing. I wasn't impressed with the bottle I had that I aged for 3 months. I enjoyed my first bomber the most.
I had this year's reserve and didn't bother hanging on to it. Tasted great without the wait. Was average priced for an ale of the quality. Did you age the pumpkinator or the reserve?
