I agree with this statement, Foster has been slipping a lot this season. I don't know if this is due to the turf or maybe he needs new shoes, but it is frustrating to see. *shrug*
TEXANS 43 Ravens 23 Will be a game without tough defenders (B. Cushing, R. Lewis) , but we should prevail because JJ Watt is the go-ahead scorer. Flacco will be running for his life because Smith and Barwin will wake up (or their OL will suck). This is where our Special Teams will shine. ¡¡VAMOS, TEXANS... ROJO DE BATALLA!!!
Not to nit-pick, but both teams are currently 5-1. So whomever wins is only 1 game ahead of the other. Still a huge game.
Cool, always good to hear (coherent) takes from opposing fans during game week. Agree with pretty much everything you say. I don't know why everyone is saying this is going to be a defensive game. Reputation perhaps? I think it's going to be a shootout much like the Sunday night game a few years ago. May even come down to who has the ball last.
Close game but Texans win it. The run game will be back on track and we will dominate the time of possession. It may just be a field goal battle in the beginning but, a key drive in the second half will secure a victory for the Texans Texans - 23 Baltimore - 13 Can't post videos, but the audio to this video seems fitting. http://youtu.be/yEm5E6yFUG0
I doubt it'll be a shoot-out; Kubiak is going to run the ball 750 times. The Baltimore run defense is abysmal. I own Demarco Murray and so I watched last week's game with keen interest. Dallas was literally bringing in 3rd and 4th string RBs and not missing a beat*. The big question mark is how we play in our base defense. Wade loaded up on DBs and stuck Quinn in Cushing's place last week and Rodgers picked it apart. He'll go back to base for Baltimore. If the loss to Cushing is somewhat mitigated in that alignment (Sunday's, I think, exposed it), I think the game will look a lot like last year's Steelers' game. * Kubes better not get cute and come out throwing the ball. Baltimore's achilles heel is run defense. We better get a steady, constant dose of Fostate for 60 minutes.
I thought the Texans should have beaten the Packers, and then they get raped by them. So I don't know what to think of his upcoming game. Please no more stupid penalties.
Well, the penalties is what lead to us getting spanked in the first place. Those 11 points changed the dynamic/complexity of the game. We had to go pass-heavy and Schuab's first pick iced the game. Too bad the rushing offense was so bad that maybe it wouldn't have mattered anyway.
The self inflicted penalties hurt bad. The o-line couldn't protect worth a sh&%. GB was getting a free run at Schaub on almost every passing down. o-line couldn't block for Foster either. Everything starts up front. If they can't block for the pass/run, Schaub is almost guaranteed a pick if not a pick 6. Schaub is a good QB but I do not trust him to drop back 50 times and throw. Texans as an offense are not built to do that. That being said, the o-line is the key to the Texans winning this week. Oh and I would like to see Jean get more reps than Martin this week. I like Martin, but the fade route to Martin in the GB game was an absolute face palm...I'd only feel confident throwing that to Andre or Jean.
The Packers run defense was supposed to be abysmal too (with Raji out), but we couldn't take advantage. If we fall behind early, it seems to take our whole offensive strategy off schedule. That's why we can't have another opening drive (sack, incomplete pass, run, punt) like we did on Sunday.
we started off 2010 @ 4-2, only one win off from this year.. unfortunately finished 6-10. We can't start cratering now.
This we learned, there are no dominant teams in the NFL.. Everyone can stink it up, ala the 49ers, Texans, Chargers, etc. ... Texans are a good team, but this upcoming game is extremely important to keep us on top of the AFC mindset...
lol. that seems to be the first play of every game. For once, I'd say run it. They were talking on the radio and said the Texans are pretty terrible at running b/t the tackles. O-line needs to step it up from here on out.
Texans embarrassed at home on national tv, playing a team that just lost its best players on all 3 levels of the defense, and looking for playoff revenge? Texans all the way here. 31-23. Game not as close as the score.
