Was Sylvias mother shocked seeing Sylvia leave the kitchen?

I like this one better. She pretends to be her mother, is shocked, and then continues outside.

Yeah, why is Sylvia's mother in shock? It would make sense if Sylvia opened the kitchen door and left the kitchen. But that's not the case.

So, either Sylvia has agoraphobia and hasn't left the house in a long time, or both Sylvia and her mother are actually the family dogs.
