Lamb is a passive name. Jeremy needs to change his name to something aggressive like "Ram" or "Wolf."

 

I thought Machado was a pure PG.

 

Houston, this team is athletic but very inexperienced. Without their floor general, they are lost like today.

Asik has been awesome and Jones surprising. But the most important guy on this team is the PG and it's not an easy job with these group of newbies. I don't think even Tony Parker can pull it off with this group.

Rally behind your floor general to give him your support. His is not an easy job. You have seen how bad it can get without Jlin today.






Jlin will be an all star if he is with Spurs!!!

 

At this point it seems KMart, Parsons & Asik are the only consistant players on the team. It's a very young team with a ton of 1st and 2nd year players and this is the point of pre-season you expect the legs to start going. Give them time and be patient because expecting a lot of wins this season is not realistic but we should expect to see growth as the season goes on. The Rookies are talented but its going to take time for them to do it every night.

 

Yeah, I ultimately feel the same way. But it's definitely frustrating. It's one thing to make mistakes, but it's another thing being lazy about defense and basics. That drives me nuts.

 

What's your point? That doesn't necessarily mean he has a good grasp of where his teammates need the ball or can make the most accurate of passes in pressure situations.

Likely something about lin smh. Anyway, Scott still has a lot to learn about running an offense & playing D. It was a ugly game though as expected.

 

White and Lamb are the most obvious D-League fodder on the team to me. Not that they're terrible or anything but I think both need time to figure out how to translate their games to this level. Lamb needs to work on his handle and ability to get to the lane. White needs to work on scoring without the ball and his defense (which was godawful on Crowder).

I think both will be hella good players though. Especially Lamb. But they aren't ready like Donuts or Jones (or even Machado).

 

The problem is the terrible offense the rockets have been running. I wish we had Aldemen back. Having 4 different players handle the rock is just terrible!

So... I missed most of the 2nd half. What happened in the 3rd quarter?

 

everything was going good until the 3rd quarter meltdown happened thats when the game went down hill for us

 

Machado needs to go to the Vipers. The Rockets are going to have Lin and Douglas as their PG's, so Machado wouldn't get any minutes. Machado needs to play, not sit on the bench all year. Next year he can battle for the backup position. I think the guy has some talent, but he needs work on his weak points.

 

None of the rookies seem ready except Jones.

No effort on defense... is it inexperience or just not giving a crap? Or bad coaching?

I'm sorry but Machado and Lamb have terrible attitude in that dept.

 

so what was the big Dirk announcement after the game?

 

Kid is bipolar. Plays really well on one end and sucks on the other end big time.

 

I think D-Mo is fairly ready. He had some good looks, seemed to work well with Asik.
